Prototypes are often molded in whatever color is at hand, as long as it is the right plastic. I imagine the different colors are different sprues.

I think my favorite Lockdown will still be the Moveiverse version that looks like a Vette Stingray. Although, the head cannon version from Age of Extinction was an awesome feature, the alt mode was boring in comparison. I'd like to keep AoE Lockdown in my Classics/Generation collection, but I'm having trouble with the head canon of the head cannon.

I get that it's a test shot and the varying colours aren't giving a good indication of the final product, but I just am not liking this guy right now.

This feels like a Cyclonus mold to me. Don't know why they're bothering with Lockdown.

I was wondering that myself, but with the reveal of Wing and Drift, I get the feeling they're doing an IDW character binge. Lockdown was in IDW Drift's storyline, so I suppose it makes sense.

I think I'll be out of this guy, but should they make a Riptide (and a Rung), I'll get that for sure.

I like it and love the ship mode, I just wish it had a different head. I'm not reading "Lockdown" from it at all.

I may get it and make it an OC. The HftD version is too definitively Lockdown to replace.

I'd LOVE for them to do a Macabre version, actually.

I agree. I think MMC would have done themselves a favor picking one direction for influence of this character, be it Animated, IDW, or something else, instead of trying to pull from all of them.

I think the oposite and Jaegertron for me is something fresh from MMC that Alt mode is lovely .

IMO i gotta say Seraph Prominion is the weakest project so far .

It's not the clutter or color scheme... this might be great as another character. It's jus not, well... Lockdown.

I'm all over Seraph. The most recent pic in that thread makes him look pretty sweet.
