i must say that the ravage jaguar alt is by far the best
in the line. IMHO
using the same frame they could make the rhino easily.

i would really like to see a laserbeak alt.
maybe the alt mode for laserbeak could be a pontiac thunderbird. it could work.

with the release of rumble and ravage, i hope hasbro is starting a new trend by releasing the cassettes as alts.

or am i just a dreamer?

Laserbeak should be an updated Firebird. I want an Alternator Soundwave though. That's probably not gonna happen though. Rumble & Ravage a supposedly the last of the Alternators. It would be pretty awesome of they jsut made Soundwave, Frenzy, Buzzsaw, & Ratbat. I like the other four Cassetticons, but not as much as the 1st generation of Cassettes............................

OLd Pontiac, Or camaro definitelly? 1970, 1969, etc or maybe a Hemicuda?.

I think there is a possibility that they would pick up the line because of the fact that rumble's designation number was 24 instead of 25

I'm with you. Between the 2 different versions of Alt. Ravage, I prefer the first one. It just seemed to be more of a step between his G1 and BW forms.

well, if you just have an open mind of what an alternator should be (or any transformer), i guess its just a matter of opinion. but staying on topic, i'd be pissed if they made a laserbeak alt like the first ravage. to be honest, my binaltech shockwave (i refuse to call him laserwave) is one of the best. but the 2nd rendition of ravage to me is just too cool. he is truly the best ravage in the transformers universe to me. thats just me tho

That would require Ferrari's cooperation though, which holds the same problem as Lambourghini, Porsche, and VW.

Well, it would not look really good in yellow (I don't think), but the mold lends itself to a Steeljaw creation as well.

Ramhorn with a new head and shorter legs would be cool.

I agree, I do like what they did with this Alternator. It is quite cool, even if it seems a bit different than we are used to.

As for other animals, that would be one HUGE Lazerbeak, or Ratbat. However, Dinosaurs and Beastbox would seem to work pretty well, suppose.

I do want my blue repaint of the Rumble mold. Sure I wish they had put just a bit more into it and given him possible slide out hands from the pile drivers, but this just seems like you need the pair. I'll probably by an extra just in case they don't, so I can give it a try (blue coloring).

i think that rumble's alt mode civic SI is one of the tightest (literally) alternators out. it really comes together quite nicely. tight as in not loose.
but then his hammer hands or whatever are so damn loose!
they just hang there floppin around. i may have to open his arms up and make a mod to tighten them up. it really bugs me.

and as far as laser beak being too big well, it wouldn't bother me much. as i think he'd be my center piece of my 15 alternators and binaltechs.

and BTW, all this time i thought ravage was a freakin black panther!

Jaguar/Black Panther ? The difference to me is negligible. I know many people who used to think Ravage was a dog, so at least though now know the correct species...

Yeah those pile drivers bug me a bit. Like I said if they had just taken a little more time, we could have got hands and maybe they could be tighter, at least smoother in their sliding.

I've said it before, and so I'll say it again. Soundwave should be a car carrier/MP Prime with trailer remold, so that both Ravages, Rumble and most likely the eventual Frenzy repaint can dock inside the carrier.

And then, we can get Alt. Ultra Magnus. And they could go the Steeljaw/Ratbat/Ramhorn/everyone else route. I think it's a cool idea.

Not really related to this particular idea, but if we're broadening the horizons with Alternators, how about Tidal Wave/Seaspray with a Boat Mode?

i think the alt line should stay on all four wheels. last think we all need is to have this line littered w/ a bunch of offshoot vehicles like boats and jets and dump trucks and the like. alt line is meant to be for adults who dont feel so embarrassed to admit they play w/ transformers. yeah, i said it. i'm 32, and i pose transformers, and my kids play w/ theirs. that is why i love the alt line. i appreciate them more than the other lines because of their realistic appearances. i play w/ them when no ones lookin though, he he. vroom vroom.

In the collector's club newsletter they did the ol' 'we're creating a cool line of toys bit' and then said April Fool.

The toy idea was a group called carbeurators that transform from extra engine pieces and accessories to guns/robots. I thought this was an interesting idea actually.

I think Arcee should be a Scion tC. Ravage kicks @rse. There is no Alt that could defeat, or even defend themselves, against the all mighty Ravage. He's frickin huge!

ahhhhh, a Z-man!! me too bro. i've had 3 of them in the past. they are my favorite middle class sports car. and the infinity g35 coupe as well. that is a great idea for a laserbeak. have the entire sides of the car fold out and beld to make the wings and a small set of talons folded up from the rear to the center. have the back winshield spread out to the sides to make the tail and 2 missle lauchers fold out from the mid center up over the wings. BRILLIANT!!!!
