Ok, I can tell I'll get a sh*t load of flack for this... but how about a stop-motion series?

If done with incredibly well painted toys, lots of excellent practical effects and a very competant team, it would likely be rather amazing. However, we run into a problem of cost and time, as stop motion is VERY labour intensive, especially to get it to look animated and not stuttery.

Maybe something with claymation humans like the Wallace & Grommet movies were like.

It would be new and original, and, if done right, it could go somewhere.

It takes like 3 years to make a 90 minute movie with the quality of Wallace and Grommet not to forget that they need multiple clay models of each character, I think every character in A Nightmare before Christmas needed like 7 heads for each of their facial expressions. Stop motion is awesome to tell nice looking stories but not for TV shows exept when aimed at little children of a very young age like Noddy, Postman Pat or Thomas the Tank engine.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

And Davey & Goliath. Though, Noddy is done in CGI now, and Thomas wasn't done in claymation. It was models that on occasion did stop-motion (but now it's moving to CGI too).
