So what in the world is geek-funk and why is it sick?

I checked numerous convention center calendars in major cities yesterday to see if the con was listed anywhere. Some stop at May and some (like the Orlando Convention Center) haven't updated their calendars.

CP HaHa, hope you charge for your services as wingman!

I can say that the only reason to attend a Botcon is to get together with the friends from previous years. Buy a few toys - maybe. And, for me, have a good time fending off romeo's, haha.

Phoenix buildings have the best air conditioning available so I don't think geek funk would be an issue.

I'd say they just make it a requirement that deoderant be mandatory to attend the event.
