Did any one else see it? I tried to record it but my camcorder couldnt see anything. I was hoping for a meteor to hit my yard, then transform, but unforynately didnt happen. But right after, it started to storm over here. Is that an effect of it or what? I always imagined plasma coming from the sky.

I tried to see it, but I am too far south. I have seen some pics from the event, and it is quite impressive.

I tried to see it, but I am too far south. I have seen some pics from the event, and it is quite impressive.

I could barely see, it was really cloudy and there was a storm but after the lights there was super bright lightning. And I know it was lightning because tere was also thunder.
