Ya know it could be worse. Capcom could of made a Robot master named "Spikeman".

But also from the Megaman series particulary in X7, there was one thing that drove me insane.

FLAME HYENARD.

DEAR GOD! He was the most annoying boss I have ever played against. All he would do is run around and screaming high pitch versions of the term "burn" and "burn to the ground" over and over again.

They did that to FIreman in MM:PU, but they added in a texas accent.

My complaint: THE ABYSS! Every platformer has an abyss, and they are SOOO evil! There is no escape! You start falling and there's no way out! God, even playaing as Tails doesn't work because when he starts falling he loses energy and can't fly any more! I HATE THE PITS OF DOOOOOM!

The amount of loading time in Smackdown vs raw 2007. I used to laugh at people who complained about loading times untill this game. It really is an awsome game but jeez, everything is "loading..."

I actually fell asleep during one too, was about to fight for a title and woke up 2 hours later with the screen at press A to continue.

And as for GvsZG, it's just the background music from the shows, unfortianatly in bad quality.

Yeah, and I personally really like it. Lalah's sacrafice was the integral turning point in the rivalry between Char and Amuro, and it's only fitting that they play the same song from the show in the game. They also play "Soldiars of Sorrow" during the attacks on Jaburo. It gets a bit annoying after awhile, since you have to play the mission about ten different times in the game(artificial lengthening), but it really adds to the mood.

Yes, I am a very big fan of Gundam. And the music from the show is what helps me get into Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam more than say, Never Ending Tommorrow, which had certain elements that were superior, but also elements that were inferior.

I understand the point of having the songs from the shows in their respective levels, but I absolutely can't stand having to fight a war with love songs.

I've heard bad things about Minmei. There happens to be an Anime Law of Physics stateing that she "is a bimbo."

And from her Wikipedia article, I can safely say I prefer lacus Clyne over Minmei any day.

Here are some of mine, in no particular order.

- Fighting Alma for the LAST time (I kept getting pwned until I realized I had to crouch behind the stretcher for cover)
- LAG
- massive (filesize-wise) demos. Why would I download a big-ass demo when I can just torrent an ISO that's smaller than it?
- Hackers
- Lamers
- n00bs (see my quote)
- those who can't tell between skill and hacks
- those who don't RTFM, RTFOD, RTFBD, or do the smegging Training. LEARN HOW TO PLAY BEFORE YOU PLAY. If you don't, then DON'T post stupid questions like 'how do i get guns'!
- those who care only about maintaining a perfect game record, and leave whenever they die to keep from having deaths on their records
- clans who disband after they lose a match (unless if you own them so hard, they disband, of course!)
- people who fail to realize that there is a difference between 'strategy' and 'camping'
- those who blame you of 'spraying' just because you use SMGs/Rifles
- Checkpoint saving. Why the hell can't you save certain modern games whenever you want? Hit F5 to Quicksave, F9 to Load.
- lack of replay value
- console ports that still FEEL like console games EVEN AFTER they've been ported to PC. A and S are for strafing and D makes the character backpedal, not run towards the camera!
- rushing a game to get it out on time. Take the time to do it right, damn it.
- holding a game back eternally/releasing it 'when it's done.' 10 Years in Development Hell, eh, Duke Nukem Forever? (though if Prey's any indication, Duke Forever will kick ass, and chew bubble gum)

That's all I can think of for now. I know that I will add more, so please bear with me.

When I was a kid, I missed out on a lot of games cause, well, I wasn't exactly a "gamer", and got mostly licensed stuff. So this year I've been doing my best to bulk up my still working Nes and Super Nes collections, without going to E-Bay, and for cheap. Last week I got the original Castlevania, which is my first "traditional" Castlevania. The others I've played have either been of the Symphony of the Night style(Metroidvania, still good), just odd(Castlevania II, still cool), or in 3D(64).

Anyway, while playing the other day, I got to Dracula, and when I think I may have figured out how to beat him, the blasted thing locked up on me. So now I have to go through the whole game again.

I also really dislike saving, and something happens during the save that turns the power off, and the save file gets corrupted.

No, I meant I dislike when something happens during the saving process. I guess I should have worded it "I also really dislike it when saving, something happens during the save that turns the power off, and the save file gets corrupted".

I do save, I save a lot.

Hold up, you can save in Castlevania 1? I could have sworn that the Game Pak doesn't have battery-backed memory.

Oh yeah, that reminds me of another beef I have with games. I hate it when the battery in battery-backed games DIE, losing your saves and preventing you from saving again. At least my local 1337 game shop has the Nintendo-tool so I can open the cartridges and replace the batteries.

One thing that also annoys me is HARD bosses that have many phases.

A good example is Ansem from Kingdomhearts. Me and a friend of mine were both trying to beat him on the second time. When we finally did there were around 7 more phases of different types of ansems.

However if this is done on a somewhat easy boss like Zant from Twilight Princess, then it's not so bad.

I second that. Phase bosses SUCK. You waste all of your items in the first phase, then you think it's over, but NO! There's another phase, and he's stronger, and you're really weakened and out of healing items... :BOOM:

Probably already mentioned but mine:
-Far between save points, I don't want to have to play for 2 hours before I get a chance to save and quit.
-Having to return on foot to some far corner of the map because there's now something there that wasn't before that's essential to continue the game.
-Not knowing where you have to return to to pick that something up so you scour the entire map.
-Boss batles where you must die to continue the story. If I die I turn off the console and start again, doing this multiple times before you realise you're not supposed to win is infuriating.
-Races in non-racing games, if I'd wanted to do a race or a time trial I'd have bought Need For Speed.

I get really annoyed when the Princess is in another castle! Goddamn Toad people can't warn me beforehand?! Geesh.

Actually, I can't stand rubberband physics in any racing game. You're leading the pack and it's about the 3rd or 4th lap. Somehow your opponents hit 200mph in the span of 3 seconds. God I hated Flatout 2 cause of that bullshit.

Good one.

I remember when I finally beat Zelda TP after a whole month.

At first I was glad but then I felt "****, what the heck am I supposed to do now".

Also, I know it's essential to RPGS and whatnot, but I kinda hate leveling up.

I don't mind adding new weapons and abilities, but leveling sucks due to the fact that it takes forever to get to a competant level. i mean I want to beat this boss NOW, not 3 or 4 hours from now.

plus if you get really far in a game without doing it, your screwed.

I hate all these samey FPS/TPS games being released, every single one of them is the exact same thing over and over again! And the people who hype about those games are truly pathetic, narrow minded people who would probably have a brain seizure if they tried anything else that isn't an FPS/TPS/EA rehash/rubbish movie licence game.
Really, just because the graphics are nice doesn't mean the game will be any good. And gun games can get very boring after a few minutes. Once you've shot one alien/terrorist/big bug thingy/Nazi, you've shot them all and the game is over within minutes.
And I hate how games that actually require thinking are ignored and regarded as too complex, Star Trek Legacy for example. An unfinished game that was ignored, because of the terrible Gears of War(Gears of Bore'dom') being so loved for being a mindless shooter, yet another one, for being Star Trek and supposedly being too complex. What's so complex about Legacy? It's simple to control and simple to play. All it requires is a basic understanding of the old rock, paper, scissors tactic, and the controls are just like using an FPS camera, it's simple. It's a good game, despite being unfinished, and it's easy to get to grips with.
And one other thing I hate about gaming in general is the cheap battles in RPGs, take on some big bad, deal a lot of damage and just as you're winning, you're suddenly wiped out with one hit. Talk about cheap.

Tony.
