^ This is what Hound looks like. Sure, a Movie depiction will never be close to G1, but all he really needs is to be green, turn into a Jeep, and have a somewhat boxy green head without a beard. But no, you can't even be true to Hound within that vague of a description.

Agreed...Hound was always one of my favorite characters and this news is just.... ugh. Him turning into a huge military truck was bad enough, now this. First you ruin Wheeljack, now Hound

I earlier commented saying that Bayformers were radically different. I must correct myself as Bay isn't the only one to have radically different TF designs, armada and cybertron and even a little animated did (police bike prowl). Just in the purpose of keeping things as rational as possible, I withdraw that remark for the reason I don't like bayformers. The reason is more the fact that I just don't like the way he handles the subject matter, or the majority of his robot designs.

I had mild hopes that they would actually retool the designs of the robot forms as well to make them less incomprehensible than many of them were. Apparently this only covers their alt modes which they have changed all right.

Facial hair or not, but this still looks silly. It actually looks like something that came out of a female wookiee's vagina after 9 months, after a Terminator model 600 visited her one night. Poor bastard.

This is imo one of the best movieverse Hound interpretation I have seen by John Giang. It doesn't look exactly like G1 one, but it still looks really nice:

Wanted to show that, because I'm rather tired of those same counter arguments like; "These aren't suppose to look like G1, see. Why can't you get that". I think most of us know and get that by now, but it doesn't mean that some of us are suppose to like every freaking beardy weirdo those high on crack designers have decided to create.

And that is a nice depiction of Hound. Enough signature features while still looks realistic, in that it is highly detailed in Robot mode with alt mode parts, and very organic or flexible looking at the limbs.

Good points. I guess after a while all the "Bay has ruined this forever" stuff I might come off as not accepting people's opinions on aesthetic etc etc, and I apologize for that. I

Well Megatron has been different in pretty much every new iteration of Transformers.

But they may have other addictions that the cigar they "smoke" on helps keep at bay.

Guys we haven't even got a full clear shot of the head yet. Just a very blurry card board cut out. Not even the full body. I'd say give it a chance, but it sounds like many have already passed full judgment.

Agreed wholeheartedly with this. Give it a chance. It might be better this time around.
