i agree that it dusnt sound official, its just too different, so a big NO from me.
For the die-hard Transfan, or even the casual fan for that matter, that version of the TF theme is probably atrocious. But I would probably say that for most of the non-fans or people that vaugely recall something about a red truck & a cassette player that turned into a 50 ft. tall robot (then happen to think "WTF?") that get this soundtrack.....it would be just enough to help them remember the theme song, & then they'd rip the other tracks off to their MP3 player, leave that one solely on the CD, & throw it in their pile of other CDs, & never give that song a second thought. That was probably the reasoning for letting them do the song....the people doing the soundtrack thought the TF theme was stupid & nobody would care, save die-hard fans, so why bother getting anybody to try making it good??Riotflea wrote:LastDragon55 wrote:I don't know why, but I like it. I just thought of something... can you imagine if this IS the song at the start?
Worse yet, how many adults would walk out feeling burned if it were to play up the part they start doing the roll-call?
Man... way to make adults feel stupid for giving a movie loosely based on kid's toy line a chance.
I'm really hoping someone got fired over this atrocious, aural nastiness.
