I just had a friendly phone conversation with my ex-girlfriend. We were together for 5 years and have been apart for about 2/3 years. She lives in another state, which is what makes this more than just a nonchalant run-into-on-the-street thing.

We talked about what we have been up to and everything nice and friendly, but I also mentioned small things like how I was wishing I was in the past. Even though I try not to think about it, I'm pretty sure I'm still attracted to her inside and outside.

Does anyone out there believe that old flames that have been left alone for so long can be rekindled or am I merely wishing for more than I can expect from life?

I merely want to know before I end up driving myself into insanity over it.

I'd say it's possible.

My current girlfriend and I dated for a year, broke up for a year, and now we're back together, going on about 3 years total so far, so I'd say it's possible.

I make no guarantees though. She also could've been down and felt that using you for comfort would help.

Are either one of you about to or have recently hit 30?

A couple of years ago I had a rash of about 5 ex GF's calling trying to talk and whatever. It turned out, that they had all hit 30 and were reminiscing about past loves,lives, and missing the exuberance of youth.

It turns out that I always dated chix older than me. But it was really funny, when I started getting calls and a letter or two from these old chix.

I hit 30 this year, and it's true, you do think about the past more. However, I am happily married and the only woman that I want to talk to and reminisce is with her.

That is the number one question, getting back with an Ex can seem very inviting, when u think of the history, the sex, the intimate knowledge of each other, the sex, and other such stuff, the sex,

but if there are issues which caused the break in the past no matter how good and inviting the memories seem old issues are garuntied to raise their ugly heads again and again.

Done it, see it, dont go there.

Of course if u broke up because, for example, she moved away and is now moving back-get the hell in there!!! Lets face it there is no reason not to.

P.s. No matter what always be nice to exs!!! I am still great friends with all bar one of my exs-and as such there are no nasty rumours avbout my past wrecking my future, never ever **** where u eat, ya know!

That's pretty much it. She had graduated college before I did and moved to Florida (from Ohio). She is still living there, but now I've graduated at the end of fall, am working a part-time job, and searching for a full-time job and I'm open to move to probably 40 of the 50 states (including Florida).

Funny thing about my exs, they dumped me for some other dude every time.

Then months later I get phone calls and show ups at my door.

I was like," Um no, you didn't want me then, so **** you now!"

The worst re-visitation was the Monday after I got married.

It was 4.15 pm, I remember it like it was yesterday.

I was on the phone with a client, I sat at the front desk at this time.

In walks my ex, the one my mother still harps over as her fav gf I ever had.

I got off the phone and my words were as follows, "what the hell are you doing here?"

She asked me if it was true that I got married, and I said "yes" with a joker grin, and I also proceeded to show her a picture of my child.

She started crying and ran into my mothers office. My mother got all kinds of mad at me cause of the way I treated her. Understand they still talked frequently, they were like girlfriends, it was gross.

I told my mother and my ex to both screw off. I proceeded to leave work and go home to my wife.

Was it harsh, yes, but totally fulfilling. I'd do it again in a heart beat.

I am 26, and my ex sometimes call me for advice and all.....like OHH I am with this guy now, but Since you broke up with me, my heart is closed to anyone but you........... And Molly (Her kitten) is missing me. I said how so? And she replies "She keeps drinking water from the toilet".Then she asked me how to break up with her bf, without hurting his feelings.........I said tell him the truth...But back to the topic..... it depends on how do I feel about that particular ex, if I hate her, I wont talk to her, if we separated on a friendly basis, then I will. If I want them back badly, then I tell that straight.

OHHH I forgot, actually four years after the divorce, she called me, ask if we can meet, for like coffee, talk and reminiscent about when we were married. What vent through my mind all the unpleasantries she caused me, while all she carred to remeber all the good times. So, to burry the hatchet (Hatchet burried in her, ehhehehe) well we vent to my place, and had a really steamy sex, for the old times sake. LOL.

Yeah prowl, thats mainly all the Ex's call for.either to say that they are arguing with their current bfs and dont get any, or they just plainly want to hit it off again, just because it felt good.........
