I find the whole concept of a robot dying a bit odd. Unless the brain or storage unit where its personality and memories are stored is destroyed then surley it can be put into another shell?

Maybe it just makes for better story telling?

Who knows how they are going to treat this stuff.

Maybe in this continuity they are treating it more.. realistic? If that's possible. Maybe Jazz' spark was "ripped" or something, who knows how hard it is to kill a bot in this continuity, or how easy.

his vocal processors were destroyed and he was still working on them. by the end of the movie, the treatment or whatever he was doing took effect and he was able to speak again. i hardly call that lousy. it takes time to fix certain things. so using BB's vocal box as a foundation for your statement is not a good example.

i seriously doubt he would be CHiEF MEDiC if he was sooo lousy as you say.

Wouldn't it be easier if he touched the allspark before it was destroyed? It fixed frenzy so it'd fix him

right. that would be the logical thing to think or do.
but from what i recall reading from a previous thread, alot seemed to believe, including myself that when he touched the allspark, that is the very thing that fixed him, but was corrected that it was not the allspark but in fact ratchets treatment on him that fixed his voice. which actually makes sense now that i think back on the movie. even after BB touched the spark his voice still didnt work, remember when he struggled to tell sam to run off with the cube after BB's legs were blown off, he struggled to get the words out. and then at the very end his voice worked and it was due to ratchets treatment.

You are assuming that fixing Bumblebee's voice is simplistic when you really have no idea how difficult it could be. As PRiMES┴DESTiNY said Ratchet wouldn't be the Chief Medical Officer if he sucked. :wink:

Well, considering there were only five of them, maybe he sucked the least at being a medic. Prime's like, "I'm the leader, so I'm not the medic." Ironhide can't be because he's too busy shooting crap up, you know Jazz is too good for that dirty work, and Bumblebee...uh...I guess someone has to stand around and look cute. Personally, I thought Ratchet was pretty good in battle...but he did seem a little smarter than Ironhide. So he got the double duty.

I'm kidding. I love Ratchet.

Or he could simply be the last Autobot medic left.

I stick with the theory that the damage to BB's vocal ciruits wasn't physical, but mental.

After all, whether Ratchet fixed it or the AllSpark fixed it, BB never spoke until after Megatron had been defeated.

So the way I see it, BB's vocal circuits were repaired at some point in time but the mental trauma caused by Megatron crushing those circuits couldn't be fixed until Megatron was destroyed.

Aw, come on. This team was the cream of the crop. I'm just surprised they didn't have more Autobots, although I guess fewer of them are fighters as opposed to the Decepticons.

Even this group - Prime, bumbles, Ironhead, Ratchet, and Jazz - they could've been coming to Earth to hang out at the mall and you wouldn't have known the difference.,

If Allspark fixed or helped fixed his voice, why not his leg? It did gave frenzy a brand new body in a snap. Free of charge.

Ratchets awesome... he may not be able to fix Jazz... but Jazz had already died. It's just like saying if a person is bleeding to long they lose all their blood and die. If a Transformer is ripped in half and all his spark is dropping out... he's finished!

I read on another website that Michael Bay couldn't make Jazz bigger because he was a Pontiac Solstice. So that's what i think as well. The Camaro was bigger...

Why do you think he was smaller?

GM couldn't supply Bay with a suitable enough car for Jazz, so they went with it.

Where does the SPARK of each Transformer reside?

Is it in the HEAD, or in the CHEST?

Prime says, it's in the chest. So how come Frenzy survived without a chest?

If Frenzy's head survived, while he's whole body died, then the SPARK should have been in the head. But why did Brawl, Blackout and Megs die when their heads were all intact and untouched?

Either way, Jazz's head and chest were still INTACT when he died. He was ripped apart from the abdomen.

Can Jazz's SPARK be in the tummy? Or,... could his SPARK be in his... *gasp*... BUTT?
