WIP Junkion, I'm quite fond of the muffler beating stick!

Original Insecticon somewhat inspired by a cockroach and praying mantis

I figure his name should follow the 'cannon fire' imagery of Kickback, Bombshell, and Shrapnel.

I'd love to see Junkion and Insecticon sets that are just a bunch of random parts cast in their colors and no clear instructions.

Unfortunately, neither of those two are permanent additions to my collection since I don't have the necessary spare bits yet...

You should tackle ultra magnus, I'd love to see your take on him. I started to make one, but I'm waiting on my wife to repaint the pieces. I bought another bruticus set, I used onslaught's body and the combiner leg/arm attachments to make him taller and bulkier. I used 2 rpgs from brick arms, cut down to stubs, for the shoulder missiles. The only issue I have are his hands, well the lack there of. I need something to stick into where the legs of a kreon goes on each combiner arm.

On a related note after building UM I stopped taking all the combiner parts off of the combiner leaders, except the second torso I take that out. It makes them much larger like they should be, I just need to lick the hand problem.

I don't think I have any fitting parts for Ultra Magnus. Yet.
I'd probably just make him a normal-sized Kreon, if/when I get parts. While I could use the combiner limbs to make him larger --like the Movie Devcon I made-- there really aren't any 'hands' for that.

On another note, decided to make Overlord a permanent part of my collection. Optimus Prime no longer has his helmet (or head), but I really didn't care for him anyways so it's all good!

Had to paint his legs (didn't want to take Hot Spot's from him), which ended up kinda sloppy. Too bad there aren't many cyan legs, much less outside combiner sets...

Also gave a new helmet to Kickback (same idea as Ransack's, just cut off the visor):

Slight tweak of Shrapnel - replaced the arms and torso with Kickback's parts

Another original Insecticon using spare bits. I'm kinda hooked on making a swarm now.

I'm sure the arm-wing setup could be used by someone else, can't recall any at the moment, though.

There's also a Helicopter Vehicon, but I don't have any spare copter rotor bits at the moment, so that'll have to wait.

I have a feeling some other custom will demand these little wings, but for now Shockwave's wearing them. To make him more like FoC Shockwave, you see.

Yeah, Photobucket only allows a certain amount of bandwidth (i.e. views) per month. They usually give a warning when I'm about 75% of the way there, but not this time for whatever reasons.

Should be back up this weekend, the account's cycle starts the 11th.

A li'l Wingthing to go with Soundwave:

The body comes from one of the Cityville Kreons (the Hazmat suit guy, specifically), which are perfect for tiny bots like Wingthing. Hopefully Soundwave's minions are done this way, both for scale and so we can get 2 at once.
