My first custom alternator... soundwave

Postby seali_me » Sun Oct 21, 2007 8:37 pm

My friend dave and I are big fans. One day he started calling my first alternator, silverstreak, shitstreak cause of all the damage it received from overuse so we got talking and i decided to repaint him completely and this is what came out.

Any pics in alt mode?
Good thinking, making an Alternator into a KISS player.

sorry for the late reply. i've been very busy lately.

the only place i can slide the chest piece on alt mode is on the back seat, acting as a pseudo lcd screen. the canon of course does not go anywhere. i also made a crome wheel gun and lazerbeak crome engine. i basically took parts from a useless car model kit.

i'll post more pics soon but i'll have to do more painting on him.

thanks for the kind replies.

It's a very well executed toy, even the tape deck and all.
Personally, I have not taste for the alt. Mode, prefer a Mustang.
But heym, great job.

But then you're just biased. :P

Brilliant job! I love the work you've done on his face, and the tape deck is a nice touch. Just wondering; might any of the gubbinry fit in the boot (trunk) in alt mode? I know the spare wheels won't, but maybe the deck front, or even the mini-Laserbeak, might..?

Geymo?! What's that supposed to mean? :?

Sounds like it ought to be "gheymo", most likely referring to a crap gimmick... :P
