It had some slapstick moments in it, as well as stars, but it wasn't truly of that genre. It was made in 1963. And, yes, that's the fire station. I needed an "apartment building."

Hmmmm, I'm gonna go "It's a Mad Mad Mad World" (is that enough Mads?) , that's just a pure guess based on it being a 60's film and your mention of it having a lot of stars feature, either that or the 1960's "Casino Royale".

Brilliant! Nice set up on that one, loved the use of the Fire Station, brought back a lot of memories. I've got an idea for one, but I need to get some props together for it, should have it up in a couple of days.

No sorry mate, clue, Roddys character isn't the one being attacked, one might say It is he that's the aggressor.

All I can think of is that old Star Trek episode with the plants with mind-controlling spores, but I know that's not right.

That's right, it has been remade recently for western audiences, however the scene in question was removed from the remake.

Is it "Oldboy"? That's just a guess. I haven't seen it, I know it was remade with Josh Brolin, and I know the violence level was supposed to be high.

Had fun reading through this thread so I thought I'd have a go at taking a photo. I don't have loads of Transformers but I think this works and the figures chosen kinda fit the roles.
