In the Marvel comics they were an it since that there were no male or female transformers. Also people calling them its no longer irks me as much. A little, but not as much anymore

After reading a post stating that the Transformers are an it. I'm sorry, but you should never refer a sentient, sapient, living being as an it.The transformers are living, sentient and are capable of thinking. Calling them an it would be an insult because you denying that they are sentient.

Took me a couple of reasons throughs, but I now get it, the op doesn't like it when people refer to tfs as the gender neutral it, which it and they are generally established as the norm when dealing with nongender beings. It doesnt bother me them being called it's as what are we supposed to call them if we don't know if it is male or female.

Lmao. I don't even know why this should be offensive at all, because Transformers are fiction, not real. Sure, you may like them a lot. You may write fan fic or roleplay as them, but it's not something to seriously take to heart. :lol:

He or a she. I read somewhere that he can be use if you don't know the gender.
