Hm. Is that actually where his wheels go in the CGI model?

That's strange... it almost looks like he has six wheels then. The two on the backs of his legs, the two within the structure of each foot, and then the two around his elbows... or am I miscounting something?

The RID one has it's perks, but IMO, the only thing FE's got on RID is flip-out guns and the legs look are better.

Just picked up RiD CliffJumper & Soundwave today - LOVING Soundwave! Cliffjumper ain't bad... the forearms are a little...odd, and I'm amazed the designers didn't think/couldn't figure a way to have the wheels on his legs fold or slide inward to occupy the huge holes where his calves should be!?! #-o

actually, now that I think about it, in the absence of arm cannons, it would've been nice to see the door windows fold completely inside his forearms... :-?

Anyway, not without its flaws... but in light of the fact I missed FE - I'm pretty happy with him :)

I like FE version because it involves less fake parts in robot mode.

I like RID version because I could actually buy it in a store.

I refused to get PRID, even though I could have got him for free thanks to gift vouchers. I decided to wait for a re-release of FE CJ but instead the amazing Mkall helped me out.

Well, after comparing the rid and FE versions, theyre basically polar opposites in terms of parts. For example FE Cliff has really good arms but the shins are lacking in detail also the torso is...wanting. While the RiD has the better legs and torso *the chest peice being faux but still far more show accurate than the FE version* Yet the arms are hollow and held together by clamps and articulation on them is strange because of it. The vehicle modes are mostly the same. The RiD being naturally smaller The only real glaring differences is the windows. The FE has tinted dark windows while the RiD has translucent windows complete with kibble feature. Its still hard to actually choose though, seeing as The FE and RiD both make up for what the other lacks.
