Deja Vu

Was the last thread about Soundwave in TF2 reset because it became so stupidly huge?

Nice design there Gojira, good to see concepts that are actually similar to the film rather than just G1 again and again.
Although he kinda looks like he has a smiley face on his torso; the two headlights are the eyes.

If Soundwave were anything resembling that Balkan; Ravage, Laserbeak and the rest could just be various communication themed attachments on the roof. Like Laserbeak being a satellite dish, the dish itself separating and folding into his wings.

They could detach at any time or they could all detach together when he transforms, making them all a kind of miniature army with Soundwave as it's center.

I think they should give Soundwave flight capability. Be it jets, stealth bomber, etc.

The endearing image of Soundwave is the loyal servant of Megatron. Soundwave usually follows him around. It will be difficult for him to do so if he can't fly.

You make a good point. But one can be a loyal servant and a favourite by doing fantastic work without having to constantly be on their master's leash.

In the very first episode of the G1 cartoon he was some sort of tower equipped with spying capabilities. So how about a cell-phone tower? Those things are so ubiquitous we don't even notice them anymore

I think the Blackout character could have suited Soundwave well.
