Takara designer Shogo Hasui has once again taken to Twitter, this time to tease the upcoming Masterpiece figure MP-21 Bumblebee! It's only a silhouette of the prototype, but Hasui has stated that more information will be revealed shortly, as the 'ban on imformation will be lifted'. Check out the image below, and Hasui's comments (via adapted machine translation)!

As the launch of the MP-20 Wheeljack is confirmed, the whole picture will be gradually revealed! The people in charge of development will be lifting the ban on information soon. The photograph is a silhouette of the prototype. Please forward to the follow-up of this place by all means. # TT_TF

Would it be sacrilegious of me to say I've always hated Bumblebee? Dunno why, he's just always seemed like a boring wimp. That being said, I'd still have to own this when it becomes available. The Masterpiece line has become the Gold Standard in Transformers. I wonder how tall he will be? Will he be in line withe MP's of Prowl, Sideswipe and Smokescreen?

nah, he was a bit annoying in G1, and having him shoved in our faces in the last seven years hasn't done him any favours.

But love him or hate him, he's a necessity in the MP line.

Unless this mold is decked out to the nines and has the most detailed bug interior in the history of Volkswagen Bug toys then I say no way am I forking out $75.00+ for an MP Bee with Clown Feet and that is probably half the size of the other MP cars for aesthetic reasons. :SICK:

. I saw the silhouette and all I could think of is those stupid Takara Disney Transformers...Slap a Mickey or Donald head on this lame duck and let's move on to bigger and better things.

Looks great to me including the feet. I am not sure what people are expecting the feet to look like for a VW Beetle. His feet are even toon accurate.

I think if it scales correctly with the other MP figures, and the head is spot on accurate I don't think Takara will have any problem selling him (even if folks have already bought the 3P versions).

I hope they don't use this mold for Cliffjumper. It would be nice to see Cliff as a proper Porsche 924 for the first time since 1984. That being said I think this is going to be the best Bumblebee ever!
