So I don't understand. All of you that have ordered TC or SW that don't live in Japan, how are you accessing the website and having the items shipped to you?

Are you using a local proxy?

I certainly would be interested in preordering a TC if I could have it shipped to New England!

The popular choice at the moment, for those of us who don't have a contact in Japan, seems to be using fantofan.jp to order the items. If you give them an email they should be able to set an order up for you.

Where on the fantofan.jp website is there a connection the the henkei TC? I see in the Earlybird section you can get an encore TC.

Can anyone help me out on this one? and roughly how much in total are people paying in USD?

What's the email address you guy's wrote to just so I'm sure I got the right one, raijinop@zas.att.ne.jp is the only one I can find on their (poopy)site.

Depends on how it's shipped, what they mark the value of the product as etc.
I've had things shipped to me from all over the world and not had to pay customs cause the cost for the item itself was cheap, but then I've had stuff shipped from the states and paid large customs fees because it was an expensive base cost.

Most of my stuff coming from the usa is hit with customs. Stuff from Hong Kong, for example, gets out nice and easy.

So getting one from ebay for $80 total was probably pretty good...

I've never ordered from Hong Kong, I'm dubious of Chinese products.
Nothing I've ever ordered from Japan has been hit with customs, and it's about 65/35 no customs/customs from the USA.

Of course the double SW+TC orders are still up to get the pair of them just $75 a piece.

We order from a site called deal extreme, and there are a lot of items there, many are reviewed and we've been happy so far with what we got. (Non transformers stuff, although we have seen transformers stuff there)
