At this rate half my collection will end up in it!Banjo-Tron wrote:Arctorro wrote:When I read the bolded part I realised that this would go well in my sig, now I might have to get him no matter the priceBanjo-Tron wrote:Anyway I would quite like a sixgun, but I really can't see beyond those arms at the moment.
LOL, you're right, you will have to expand your 'monkey arms' collection!
The bot mode does look good, but we don't know what the guns are going to look like. Maybe, with the recent interest in TFC's, they will be prompted to show us more.Yotsuyasan wrote:Meh, I still like the other third party Sixgun being developed better, although we haven't seemed to have heard anything about it since last October, so hopefully it is still a thing...

I'm not sure what's more lame. That this guy uses the Rage of the Hercules forearms, or that he has those hinge connectors to keep the arms on.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Sixgun isn't that important to me to spend over $100 3rd party prices on it. If HasTak released a deluxe scale Sixgun for $12,I'd buy it.

Wait, how much? If that is the price, then I am out.

I would wait and see what the actual price is... this is just Tsutsakakushi's estimation.

I was just going to post the same sentiment. Tsutsukakushi has a tendency to post things that come off as fact, when often, there's been no confirmation.
And if I were to guess, based off of the size of this thing in this prototype pic:
I'd say that $100 is cheap. I would guess more in the $150 range based on TFC's other figure pricing. But this is just a guess.

Arctorro wrote:...so there is no way I'm getting this there are parts left over in even one mode.
It is possible the arms can form a tower in city mode, but I can't see them being used anywhere else or the hands being used at all.Yotsuyasan wrote:Arctorro wrote:...so there is no way I'm getting this there are parts left over in even one mode.
Yup. I'll be more then happy to be proven wrong, but until I am proven wrong, there's no way I'll believe those lower arms and fists are used in any other mode.

You can use the hands as shadow puppets to create the illusion of Metroplex having more structures if you just look at his shadow. Just don't look directly at Metroplex.

The more I look at the latest images the more worried I get about this.
The image above shows two red gun handles and this
shows that the three big guns need to use those handles! Add to that the missing tab to connect the biggest gun to the right side of Metro's back and we have a set that has a pile of bits sitting off to the side when Sixgun isn't in bot mode. Looks like TFC might just have failed badly with this...
Going to wait on reviews before getting any Sixgun (or deciding if I even want one), but TFC has just fallen to the bottom of the list for me at this point in time.
Shame TFC didn't think of that. Such a small thing that could've made a big difference.Stormrider wrote:Oh geez you are right. That was stupid planning. Why didn't they just incorporate the handles into the legs so they are attached and fold up. I agree with you. Lots of parts to keep track of.

I see even smaller parts that could become lost. There are 18 parts. Did you notice there are 3 guns that require handles, but the set only includes 2 handles?

The third handle will be included in the add-on kit which will also include smaller forearms/hands, G1 accurate head, a carrying case for all the parts not integrated, and a thick vertical peg to sit on for the low low price of $59.99.
