LostLightron! Also, that Tailclonus head is cooooooooooooooooo!!D-Maximus_Primal wrote:See, the way my unique combiner works, it actually has 3 of those 4 limbs, with Smokescreen instead of Prowl since all 4 of those are Lost Light crewmembers. And then Cyclonus as a torso.
that really works out since: Smokescreen and Mirage as legs produce a fast combiner, and with the power of invisibility and smokescreens, it makes seeing this combiner impossible. Then you have Hound with the holograms and bulk for a left uppercut worthy of any slugger, and Trailbreaker as the right arm for Forcefields galore, and again some bulk. And then you have the tactician, cool under pressure and knows no fear as the torso. Put it all together, and you got a nearly unstoppable combiner.
Plus, I'm also considering this to replace that odd Galvatronus head: http://www.renderform.com/products-page ... us-purple/

Hey man, I like me some Lost Lighters.
And Headmaster junior I believe is what Nightbeat, Siren, Hosehead and such were in the original series

The convo is moving to fast for me to keep upso I'll try to address a few things.
I don't pay any attention to all those abilities the limbs bring. I just like what ever looks cool and for me it's a complete team. Onslaught and Shockwave are well made and tons o fun together.
The PE sets (feet and hands) bring the combiners to the next level, highly recommend. You can get the simplified KOs on the cheap as well.
N has some great recommendations - any variants of those molds will do nicely. The only mold I would avoid is the Breakdown mold, but you know me - team Bruts all the way double rainbow.
I spotted Skullcruncher just chilling in that heap, made me chuckle a bit![]()
The combiners are a lot of fun and I'm always torn between combined mode or team poses. Good thing they are quick and easy to swap around
Just say the word Brotherman!itscramtastic wrote:Pshhhhhhhhhhhh why buy that when I have a friend who makes them custom?!Autobot N wrote:And if possible, try to get a hold of a TFSS Bluestreak. Truly an awesome figure.![]()

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

EDIT: by outliers, are we talking bots like Alpha Bravo, Rook and Offroad? I like those guys as subs. Currently I have the original teams combined with the pinch hitters and legends bots standing below trying to look tough
Ok, that was also what I thought you were talking about, I just forgot to type it.D-Maximus_Primal wrote:outlier in IDW
The Lost Light story is cool. An epic space opera! Something we don't necessarily get from Transformers.D-Maximus_Primal wrote:Hey man, I like me some Lost Lighters.Bumblebee21 wrote:you lost lighters

CT1, I'm with you on the looks first thing. That's why I was worried about making an aesthetically pleasing Galvatronus that never came to fruitioncarytheone wrote:I'm a fan of the Lost Light crewand on that note, I didn't know SS was a LL - well, now the hunt is really on!

Yes, which is why I don't have one.Bumblebee21 wrote:with a third party combiner its best to keep them in one mode
Oh I'll let you know, or at least ask for tips. It's been a while since I've done some scale modelling, but I used to rock some jets and warships like a mofoCobotron wrote:Just say the word Brotherman!
I just want to note on Blastoff. I know you would prefer a shuttle, but since you don't have any Aerielbots, Blastoff will be a new unique toy you haven't handled. And He may be my favorite airplane mold.
Now to jump back and read the rest of this fun convo.
That's a pretty good way to look at it D! Mutants = Outlier. We need more Phase Sixers thoughcarytheone wrote:Ok, that was also what I thought you were talking about, I just forgot to type it.D-Maximus_Primal wrote:outlier in IDW
I was thinking about this while driving around today. Much like marvel/dc all the main/named characters have some defining trait or attribute that makes them stand out. Even if it's not a "mutant" power they still excel beyond that of a normal bot. It'd be pretty boring if they didn't though.
Edit: I forgot I do have an SS, prime bh SS, derpbut then again I don't count my Prime stuff, they exist in a separate bubble.

He's quite slender! I can't wait to get the Reprolabels on him though. Kinda plain. Alt mode looks good though!william-james88 wrote:That Blurr mold might just be the best mold to come out this year. Still struggling between passing that crown to either him, Fracture or Thunderhoof. They are all engineering marvels. But damn, Blurr just has so much going on for him. I love how he rolls so well.

I would've, if he wasn't $30. It's really hard for me to justify that. Yet somehow, I justify the Reprolabel purchase. I'm actually tempted to buy some RiD stuff, JUST because of the Reprolabels!! I may be ordering the set for warrior class Megatronus and Optimus Prime
But why?! He looks so pretty with the sticker goodness!!Autobot N wrote:I would heavily advise against that.
You can paint and sticker up a CW Breakdown to look like it fell from heaven, but it would still be a CW Breakdown. I have the RiD Prime, and frankly, it sucks.itscramtastic wrote:But why?! He looks so pretty with the sticker goodness!!
