OH SNAP! CARYTHERULER! D-Max, feel free to use any of my awesome RiD Bumblebee picscarytheone wrote:Ah, but you are playing the game wrong. Its fav Bee character and the fav toy of that Bee. This is a limited line, but any deco and maker so Takara included.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:This is a game I love!carytheone wrote:Best/fav Bee and best/fav mold of that Bee - GO!
Favorite Character Bee: RiD Bumblebee. I love him cause he has a voice (and a very good one, thank you Will Friedle!!!!), he looks cool, he is a cool character as the kid appeal character taking charge of a small team and actually showing off some maturity and flexing his muscles.
I expect a rewrite and a RiD Bee toy on my desk by lunchtime![]()
Well, I don't have SD G1 Bumblebee, I have SD G2 Bumblebeecarytheone wrote:Good choice.itscramtastic wrote:Favorite Bumblebee for me has to be the G1 animation Bumblebee. And what better representation than this guy?!I almost went with G1 Bee. We had some good times back in the day. I didn't even think of the MP as an option, but it totally is. I'd stick with the SD G1 Bee though, just for old times sake.
MP Bee is really fun to play with. A nice balance between MP complexity and standard retail release ease. I will say that is a point against the figure from an MP engineering point of view though.itscramtastic wrote:Well, I don't have SD G1 Bumblebee, I have SD G2 BumblebeeMP21 is just so much fun to transform and roll around (except the stupid bumper I'm gonna superglue in) and transform back to have him punch and kick and run!!

I don't have an issue with the bumper, but the damn spare will not stay pegged to save AAA a trip out.
I love that RiD Bee pic. That head cock is just so sassy. Only real time heroes are left handed. Other are just dirty wagglersthat's and Australian term right?

Are you now? I'm semi ambidextrous. I cannot write with my left hand and I do favor my right for eating and detailed work, but I do a lot of tasks for my job left handed. I even wear my tool belt on my left. Must be and IT thing.itscramtastic wrote:I'm ambidextrous.Bumblebee21 wrote:im left handed![]()

Depends on your point of view. It works for me, but I think they should have skipped the ball joints on an MP figure. Just saiyan.itscramtastic wrote:Simplicity or perfection?!carytheone wrote:MP Bee is really fun to play with. A nice balance between MP complexity and standard retail release ease. He's a great figure, easily one of my top.
I guess notUnfortunately, we will never know if that is an Australian phrase, as no Australians frequent my thread. Ever.

Well, if I could have Rock Candy RiD Bumblebee then yeah, he'd probably be awesome. BUT, I prefer good old standard with the Reprolabels I so painstakingly and expertly applied.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Been off for the day doing all kinds of stuff, a puppy graduation among them.
So it was best toy of that character? well, here you go!!!
Sorry Cram, this one slams the hell out of the rest
Ah good old Alternators. I feel like they were a HUGE part of my starting collecting again. I picked up a good amount of them and I think I've only parted ways with one, of which I may find and pick up again. They have the feel of MP as far as complexity goes and the feel of the G1 toys with the car-parts and such hanging off of them. They were a true renaissance of the brand for me. I think I'm only disappointed in a few, just because they are yellowing!! That would be Meister and Prowl. I just find it hard to believe the price hike from them to the MP carbots. They are as complex, fully licensed, and awesome figures. Still need to find Hound at a decent price (like I found Mirage w/Reprolabels) and he will be my stand in. Or permanent. I don't know!!Ironhidensh wrote:I guess my answer to this could also in part answer the question of what really kicked off my "adult collecting" habits.
It was this guy:
Well, actually, not this exact guy. This is BT-07 Smokescreen. I'm talking about BT-01, the first Binaltech figure. My BT-01 is currently in attic storage, so I can't take a picture of him.
Anyway, this was my very first eBay purchase, as well as my first "adult" Transformer. What I mean by that of course, is this was my first figure that wasn't part of the main line, past or present.
Binaltech was something amazing. An actual licensed scale model vehicle, with a detailed interior no less, that was fully transformable into a robot that was NOT a brick. More than anything else we had gotten (if I remember right, this was a few months before the first Masterpiece was released), this figure was a sign of the advancements made in the art of transforming toys. In many ways, the Binaltech line still holds its own today, though it has been some what lost in the shadow of Masterpiece figures.
They are and they DO have that feel!! This coming from a guy who had WfC Soundwave, and Prime Soundwave (who I never opened and shipped off to carytheone). I missed the Prime Soundwave, not missing it again!!D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Them wheels are the bomb. They so have that WFC/FOC feel that I missed
