No. It was confirmed by Hasbro that there will be no Unicron or Primus appearance in this series. This is a brand new storyline. The only thing that ties it to the other series at all are the cameos of old characters, but other than that, it's all brand new with the characters being different from G1.
I found out the hard way that this isn't a sequel to the other shows even though it looks like it.
The hard way?????
What ever do you mean????
Did you bet some money on it???
And when was it confirmed by Hasbro that there will be no Unicron or Primus showing up in this serries????
Not that I'm interested in seeing them.I hated the Trilogy. But I havent hear any official word that ether of the godformers would never be seen in Animated.

Does the one that actually turns into a functional MP3 player count?
SSJVegeta wrote:Hell, might as well throw out my personal wishlist (not demands, just stuff I'd like to see I've headr no plans on). Pretty much anything I list on Classics I would totally also take in Masterpiece scale.
Classics Springer (Cause I love Springer for some reason)
Movie or a more accurate classics Devastator (Movie version not unlikely given rumors)
Classics Ironhide (with Ratchet mod). Ironhide cause he rocks, Ratchet cause he's the first TF I owned).
A better version of Dinobot that doesn't have robot legs hanging off his dinomode.
Classics Blitzwing (unlikely given we're getting animated version. But I like the old tank mode better)
Brawn.
Kup.
Masterpiece Soundwave (And, ya know, maybe some scaled Rumble/Frenzy/Ravage/Laserbeak)

Because that's where the conversation led.

How?
The posts before his were dicussing how Unicron won't be in Animated.
His Classics "wish list/desires" seem pretty random/out of place here.
EevilJ wrote:2) It's still Transformers. I don't see anything wrong with talking about Transformers on a thread about Transformers.
EevilJ wrote:1) Do we KNOW Unicron won't be in Animated? They're bringing in Swindle, Jetstorm and Waspinator, I think Unicron is far, far, FAR more likely than not.
Autobot032 wrote:Yes. we *DO* know that Unicron will not be in this series. Right from Hasbro themselves at BotCon. If that's not proof enough for you, then you're just grasping at straws.
Ones that are too far out of reach.

Well like I said I'm not intrested in seeing Unicron or Primus but let me ask you this????
Just when was it that any word from Hasbro been proven infallible????
Its been my experance over the past 24 years that Hasbro change's its mind as often as the children it sells its toys to.

Not ever, or just not now? I seriously doubt they're going to look at it and go: "A planet that eats planets. And turns into a robot. Voiced by Orson Welles. Wait, he's dead? But Leonard Nimoy once voiced him? Is he alive? Ah, good. Anyway. This is the coolest thing EVER in the history of anything. Let's not do it."

I hope some good comes for the Constructicons.

Too jerk-like to be Autobots? Have you not been paying attention to Sentinal Prime and Ratchet in "Garbage in, Garbage Out" There are jerk-like Autobots in this series.

Nimoy is alive but it has never been confirmed that he did any lines for Unicron.
