Sabrblade wrote:His cartoon model is already in G1 colors. It's his toy that's not. He's not blue in the cartoon, he's gray. Only his toy is blue. He's red too, but it's just a darker shade.
Saying that Starscream's body should be done in G1 colors is like saying the same thing about Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Megatron, Blitzwing, Swindle, Blurr, the Dinobots, the Constructicons, Ultra Magnus, Jazz, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Ironhide, Omega Supreme, Wreck-Gar, Soundwave, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Sunstorm, the Liar clone, and... I can't think of anymore.
Dead Metal wrote:They took the tech from him as they captured him in the episode which showed us that he was a zombie. A few episodes later Starscream escaped after they had taken what they needed.

Was there dialogue to this effect? Refresh my memory because I don't remember them saying anything at all. =/

You surely must be colour blind, as G1 Starscream was white not grey. And the second half of your post was a completely unnecessary attempt at condescension, please don't do that.

Not like it really matters. They made him darker than the G1 but it's still the same colors. How do you make White darker? You can't, so white becomes grey.

Tekka wrote:Okay, I give. You can have your marginally grey G1 Starscream. But the colour difference is still clear to see. Light grey (almost white), red and blue, do not equal dark grey, red and black.
Dead Metal wrote:*Sniff Sniff* Damn I can smell a huge multy-page discussion on colour patterns coming from this Tekka.

Animated Starscream is not black. It's a dark Blue. Yes it does look quite black but so does the Joker's hair in the Batman animated series. (the one played by Luke Skywalker not the more cartoons.)
If you look at the "shine" on Starscream's hands, you can see they're blue.
Same with Joker's hair, you can see a "shine" of green. I'm not sure what to actully call that, other than shine. It's a lighter color ment to represent lighting on the character.
Let me know if you have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm not even sure how clear I'm being. I'll post pictures next time to show what I was talking about.
