Saber Prime wrote:I didn't know Telitran 1 moved. The least they could of done was left a link on the old page to the new page like Paragon Wiki did when they moved to the Titan Network.
Anyway I don't like how the new page lists Longarm Prime and Shockwave as if they were actully two different characters. The old page actully had them both listed as the same character under the Decepticon side as they should be.

Saber Prime wrote:Sabrblade wrote:what do you mean the new one has Shockwave and Longarm Prime as two separate charatcers?
I mean on the main page where it lists all the characters.
http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Tran ... d_(cartoon)#Cast
Here you can see Longarm/Longarm Prime/Shockwave listed as a single character under multiple names under the Decepticon listing.
Saber Prime wrote:http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers_Animated_%28cartoon%29#Cast
And on this page Longarm/Longarm Prime is listed as an Autobot while Shockwave is listed seperately on the Decepticon side.
Yes they do all direct you to the same page but I said nothing about the page it takes you to did I.
All I said was that the LISTING of them had them AS IF they were seperate characters.

original sin wrote:Technically Longarm and Shockwave are two different entities. Much like Cybertron Jetfire and Sky Shadow.

That link doesn't go anywhere.

So your problem was listing two names for what is technically the same character? Despite the fact that both names go to the same page?
In any sense, Longarm Prime has an Autobot symbol on his chest. Thus, despite being a double-agent, he is an Autobot. You wouldn't call Punch a Decepticon, would you?

Sabrblade wrote:original sin wrote:Technically Longarm and Shockwave are two different entities. Much like Cybertron Jetfire and Sky Shadow.
What? No they're not. They are as much the same guy as Punch and Counterpunch are. It's one guy pretending to be another guy, and doing a darn good job at it too.

Adopting a new identity is essentially the same as creating a new entity. I'm not following the Animated toy line, but I'm assuming they made a Shockwave figure and a Longarm Prime figure? One is an Autobot and one is a Decepticon. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry.
Saber Prime wrote:No they're not. That would be like saying Batman and Bruce Wayne are different characters.
Or better yet. That's like saying Kal-el, Clark Kent, and Superman are 3 different characters.
Saber Prime wrote:You're assumeing wrong and you know what they say about people who assume things.![]()
Saber Prime wrote:Why would they make two seperate toys of the same character?
Saber Prime wrote:And no creating a new identity is nothing like creating a new entity.

It's not the symbol on your chest that defines you, it's who you work for.

They do that all the time....or have you forgotten how many "Armada" Primes were released??????And I dont just mean re-paints.
Shadowman wrote:Saber Prime wrote:Haveing an Autobot symbol on your chest doesn't make you an Autobot. He allso has a Decepticon symbol and works for Megatron, definatly not an Autobot.

As Longarm Prime, wouldn't he actually HAVE to do work for the Autobots? I mean, as a communications officer, they're going to notice something fishy about the guy they promoted to Prime, who only sends communications somewhere offworld.
Saber Prime wrote:Why must you allways take things out of context?
Saber Prime wrote:He was talking about relising Longarm and Shockwave as seperate toys not about just makeing different size molds of Longarm/Shockwave.
Saber Prime wrote:BTW there were only two Armada Primes sence you're not counting repaints. And if you were counting repaints that's 3 Armada Primes. If you're counting how many times that mold was repainted as Optimus Prime well I lost count there.
Saber Prime wrote:That's not in any way what I ment when I said 2 different toys.

I take it how I read it.
Dont blame me for a lack of reading your mind or intent.
You always word things as if they are an "absolute" and can not be questioned.
Chose your words more carfully and this wouldnt happen.

Then thats what you should have said.

Even if there were only 2 I'm still right but not counting re-paints I know of at least 5 Primrs from that line.
The Super-Prime
The Smaller Transformable Prime [Bendi]
Mc Donalds Prime
The large PVC [non transformable] Prime
The small pvc prime
Saber Prime wrote:That's not in any way what I ment when I said 2 different toys.
Well like always what you wrote didnt come off as what you ment.

You seem to be rambelling budI dont see the point of this since I didnt question any of that.

I honestly didn't even know PVC figures exsisted outside of G1.

Well, he didn't confirm it or deny it. So really, how you see it depends on how pessimistic or optimistic you are.
