I know, right? That vocal performance is exactly how I envisioned the voice of Orion/Optimus from the Exodus and Exiles novels. So much more emotion than how he was speaking for the first 26 episodes. I am really looking forward to seeing more of Orion and PRAY that his memories fail to be restored after this three-part episode.Shadowman wrote:That said, I'm really impressed with Orion/Optimus' "new" voice. Obviously it's still Peter Cullen, but there's an entirely new tone to his voice that sounds completely different from Optimus. It's really good.

At least he's doing something.Shadowman wrote:-Arcee manages to get on board the Nemesis, for all of five minutes. Who knew Soundwave was a mobile Ground Bridge?
Like I said, Optimus chose well.Shadowman wrote:-Jack comes up with the plan I had been expecting: Let the 'cons finish their Space Bridge, then hijack it to get to Cybertron and Vector Sigma.
That's our Screamer.Shadowman wrote:-Starscream finally returns, just to steal some Energon from the Nemesis...and then confront Optimus. Seems like he's going to foul up the whole thing.
We all want that to happen very much so.ebilly99 wrote:Wouldn't it be a awesome if Orion pax (Not Optimus) were to desert the cons and rejoin the autobots without his prior memory's as Optimus. Even if the Gang tried to explain who he was Orion would never be that Optimus againI am likeing this idea.

I'd think Megatron would have already briefed him on any new body changes off screen. Such a detail is pretty minor compared to Orion's more personal matters.DJ1107 wrote:Only actual in-show flaw I've seen was that Orion doesn't even question why his alt mode isn't his original cybertronian body.
I think Ratchet's kind of the de facto leader right now, with Arcee and Bulkhead both kinda playing the role of field commander (but not in complete cooperation with each other)DJ1107 wrote:1. My god is everyone angry in this episode I mean I kinda understand their worried about Optimus but the Bots seem to be a complete wreck without him. Who exactly is the second in command on this team anyway?
Megatron want's Starscream alive for personal reasons. He wants Screamer to suffer at his hands. Killing Starscream instantly would let the Seeker get off too easily for his actions, and it would rob Megatron the satisfaction of dealing with Starscream himself.DJ1107 wrote:and 2. I don't who's a bigger idiot. Megatron for not warning all his troops to shoot & kill Starscream on sight or Starscream for not thinking his plan through while on the Nemesis. But still it's a multi-parter so I'll see whats in store next week

That was before he changed his mind and before Starscream abandoned the Cons. Now Megatron wants to personally take care of Starscream his own way.DJ1107 wrote:Then why was Megatron trying to kill Starscream at the beginning of Rock bottom?

Yeah, but if they keep coming back to this character, I get the feeling that Sierra may become more than a recurring side character and become another human ally. It kinda feels like they're really pushing to make her jack's love interest (despite her being a bit of jerk at first), when several of us figured that that role might go to Miko somewhere down the line. I mean, we've already got five human allies who make regular/semi-regular appearances. Do we really need a sixth?Gyrotron wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Pointless Sierra scene was pointless.
There might be a reason for that scene in the next two episodes of Orion Pax. For now, it's just a time filler.

Who's arguing? I'm just giving explanations. We're good, man.DJ1107 wrote:Well ok lets not get into an argument for all I know Megs wants to pull a league of extraordinary gentleman vol.2 on Starscream. (trust me anyone who read that knows that would be pure toture for Screamer). I was just stating a fact.

Like I said, Optimus chose his successor wisely.Galvatron X wrote:Ya know, it always makes me shake my head and roll my eyes when the supposedly super-intelligent, high-tech robots are absolutely clueless and the kids come up with "brilliant" plans, lol. Not really a complaint, just something I've noticed. I guess they do it to make the kids watching feel like they too could be involved like that. I dunno...

Hahaha, maybe so, but he chose his army UNwisely! They're a bunch of dumbasses!
"Hmmmm, the Decepticons are building a space bridge to Cybertron. But anyway....how are we EVER going to get to Cybertron????"

Yes. Yes it is.SlyTF1 wrote:I love how Megatron twists the story. He is awesome.I wish Optimus would stay a Decepticon though, because this show is too predictable.
