Anyway, although a swarm of Insecticons would be cool, the other possibility of "vermin" Arcee speaks of is the Scraplets. We've seen them a bit in the previews.

Mice, rats, opposums, spiders, etc. all move in and start to take over when a place is undisturbed by humans for a long period of time. I would guess Scraplets and Insecticon swarms are only two of many different types of "wild life" that would begin to reclaim the surface of Cybertron.
