I considered this myself, but there are some holes in this idea. Namely that Starscream doesn't know about the Shadowzone or Terrorcon Skyquake being in there.BeastProwl wrote:Theory-
Starscream takes M.E.C.H out to the area were Skyquake is, opens up the dimension he's in somehow. They then proceed to bring him down. Removal of dark energon plus M.E.C.H's Cybertronian drone plus salvaged Skyquake parts plus Starscream's know how and "ambition" equals a new Decepticon, totally obedient to Starscream, who now has his own second in command seeker, Dreadwing? The episode could end with him awakening, and saying his 'Autobots will pay" one liner. Of course then theres the transformation cog. wait, Skyquake parts!
A stretch, but a fun theory none the less!

They won last episode. And in the early episodes of previous multi-parters. Of course they're not going to win in the last part of the multi-part episodes. Same thing happened with Animated:SlyTF1 wrote:Still pissed the Decepticons never win anything. They got the hammer, but what good will it do them? It will just end up in the hands of Optimus later in the series anyway. That's why I liked Animated, the Decepticons actually posed a threat and managed to beat the Autobots in a few episodes. But here on TF Prime, they lose in every episode. It's old. Really freaking old to the point where I don't even feel like watching the show anymore.

Yeah, Sly. Would you still be rooting for them if this were real life, with them trying to kill/enslave all of humanity (including you) and such?Shadowman wrote:SlyTF1 wrote:Still pissed the Decepticons never win anything.
You know why that is? Because watching the villains win isn't nearly as fun as watching the heroes overcome them. It's why the Decepticons always lose, Cobra is always defeated, and the Joker is sent back to Arkham. Because the whole point is to have the heroes win in the end.

Sunstar wrote:Yeah Starscream seems to be up the subspace without a bridge. I am very interested in seeing how they take that plot line. I seem to be fascinated with a born flier not having flight.
So far, this is the best transformers series since the original G1 (which I saw as a kid) This series has Autobot characters I can feel for and actually enjoy. Autobot characters in the past felt shallow and had little to no background. I got the torrent of the latest. I just can't wait for it to come out on DVD so I can have a copy <3

Ratchet: (still groggy): "I am able! Just as Bantor! He was all mandrill before I put a tiger in his tank!" - Two Beast Wars gags! I love it! Even though it make no sense since Bantor wasn't in the Beast Wars cartoon.
"Fortress-Maximus Grade Nucleon Shock Cannon"? What, is Fort Max not a character in this show?

Well, considering MECH already has weapons capable of taking down Transformers, the humans probably could put up a fight.

But the US government is apparently aware of the Transformers already (Agent Fowler), yet you never see them attacking Decepticons except when attacked first. Now that I think of it, it's kind of dumb that MECH is that strong, and that with the Autobots to study, the US forces haven't come up with any kind of real defense.

I don't think they can find them, right? Their ship is cloaked and they 'port in and out.

Yeah, exactly why I said the humans couldn't do anything. But in the scenes where humans DO fight the cons, they seem really useless. Maybe just because they weren't prepared, but you'd think they'd have some defense on hand besides relying on the Autobots.
