the cons have it but can't use it.
Oh yes, I remember that now, and the scene with Megatron explaining how only a Prime can use it. Wonder if the Autobots will ever get their hands on it.

I doubt it, because if they did, that would make them un-defeatable. And we cant have that, now can we?
I want to see how they use the other relics, like the (Insert name) that allows you to go through solid matter.
Not unless Optimus would use the Forge to make something better than the Spark Extractor.YRQRM0 wrote:They wouldn't be un-defeatable if the cons managed to get a hold of something like the spark extractor, it'd be more of a stale mate.

i just dont get why they arent smart enough to have asked the big question yet. Why are all these relics here!?
I get the whole "Hiding things on other planets" aspect, but come on! there has got to be more to it than that if all these powerful relics are on one planet!
Like Shadowman said earlier in this thread, I think Unicron is pulling them here to earth.

think about what RC said to jack in the science fair episode.

but rc is cybertronian technology. if as you think their onboard computers are more user friendly wouldn't it have a schematic of her own alt form? so wouldn't she be able to see how the engine was assembled? so she should have been able to help jack. though I'll admit she could have just wanted the meatbag to fail.

BeastProwl wrote:Well, see the problem here is this:
When they turn into these things, it's just a disguise. It looks and sounds the part. Whenever they are busted in battle, Ratchet repairs them, not a mechanic.
My point is, how much of that disguise do you think is actually real parts of real cars and trucks and stuff? I say, in actuality, none of it. There is no way those cars and trucks could, in their regular, un cybertronian modes, take the beatings they do as autobots, yet, as autobots, they can.
It's just a disguise. Nothing more.

they are still made out of whatever, rc in this instance, the bots are made out of. plus who knows what they have going on structual integrity wise.

Dude, Megatron tried to use it to make a superweapon, and he's even less of a Bill Nye the Science Guy than Optimus is. If the Forge could work for anyone, Megs would have successfully made a weapon out of scrap metal despite his lack of tech smarts/skills.njb902 wrote:I don't know if it would be as simple as that. even with the matrix to guide him it doesn't guarantee that optimus would be able to create anything with it.....though on the other hand hey a big hammer.........hulktimus smash!!!!!!!!!!
edit: on further consideration I don't think optimus could create anything, he just doesn't strike me as the scientist/creative/artistic type. even if say ratchet or wheeljack made the plans/blueprint I just don't think prime has what it takes to be a creator.....he's more of a breaker.

Probably another 26, what with the pattern they got going.Rodimus2006 wrote:10 Episodes remain in Season 2 season 2 will have 26 episodes unknown on how many season 3 will have.
If Skywarp does show up, he probably won't look like his Japanese toy for two reasons:Rodimus2006 wrote:But that would be cool if Skywarp or Ultramagnus would be on Prime although I wouldnt want Skywarp to be anything like Starscream or either in his looks the toy of Skywarp was awesome and menacing he looks nothing like his G1 Counterpart. Then again nothing in Prime does all they share in common are thier names.
From what we saw in his Hall of Fame video at BotCon, Prime Shockwave does look very much like G1 Shockwave.Rodimus2006 wrote:That would mean Shockwave and Ultra Magnus would be totally diffrent from anything we have seen in previous shows.
Well, we do know that Shockwave will at least be seen in a flashback of some kind, as the Hall of Fame video showed him being introduced to Arcee and Cliffjumper by Starscream.Rodimus2006 wrote:Me I cant wait to see Shockwave on Prime how will he be used, what will his role be and who will be his VA. A Transformers Veteran we know, someone from the movie-verse or someone we didnt expect such as Tony Todd doing Dreadwing.

He means that Fall is "3rd Quarter" for year-based product releases. To say that something comes out in the "3rd Quarter" is to say that it comes out in the Fall.PrimeStriker wrote:Rodimus2006 wrote:Fall is Q3rd learned the deal cause of my games are based on Fall or Qrt releases Q3rd means around October maybe September.
What? I cannot comprehend your sentence. What's that supposed to mean?
Not when there are still those who think it's a literal blending of all continuities into one complete timeline, rather than just bits and pieces taken from each (trust me, these people exist, though their opinions on such an idea vary greatly).PrimeStriker wrote:And others I probably failed to mention. Point being, the whole Aligned continuity is a homage in the long run. It's all the past continuities, taking bits and pieces from each one, and aligning them into one continuity. I'm pretty sure the name is rather self-explanitory.
Shockwave was only a loyal servant in the G1 cartoon. In nearly all other G1 continuities, Shockwave is an ambitious, calculating authority figure and rival to Megatron, who seizes power and control because logic dictates that he must, and to do otherwise would be illogical.PrimeStriker wrote:Not necessarily. He could still remain a loyal servant to Megatron. Not everyone has to have an original surprise twist in character.

While we do know that Aligned Shockwave does indeed abide by logic, he seems less the power hungry type and more invested in morally ambiguous scientific experimentation. Still, though Megatron distrusts him, Megs did make Shockwave his second-in-command originally, so ya never know.PrimeStriker wrote:I'd also love for Shockwave, when Megatron is seized, to take over the Decepticons as he did once before. Sabrblade wrote:As for who should voice him, I want Steve Blum to voice him for the following reasons:
1. He voiced Shockwave in both War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron.
2. He's already a regular cast member on the show, so he's readily available and they wouldn't have to pay extra for another new guy.
3. There have been more and more attmepts to better connect the two time periods of the past (games/novels) and the present (cartoons) together, and what better way to do that than to use the same character's voice actor from both mediums?
Wigglez wrote:Just remember. The sword is an extension of your arm. Use it as if you're going to karate chop someone with your really long sharp ass hand.
He's talented enough to make the two voices distinct enough.Shadowman wrote:Eh, I'd much prefer someone else do it. Steve Blum is an awesome voice actor, but tell it's him pretty quickly. It'd be better for Shockwave to have a more unique voice to avoid the risk of sounding too much like Starscream.
