Ok, so to ME they were horrible.

Knock Out being an opportunist? NEVER!Did you pay attention to our favorite automobile enthusiast at all?

Yes, I know. I'm just hoping in vain here. The Decepticons don't really have anyone left and Knockout was one of my favorites along with Breakdown and Starscream. I'd hate to see him go. Now I'm conflicted on what I should do with him. Should I keep him on the Decepticon shelf because that's what he mostly was, or do I take him away because he's now a traitor?
I don't even know what to think of Prime anymore.

Optimus would be dead long before he would sign off on anything like that.

The bots do a lot of things that Optimus doesn't approve of.

Executing unauthorized raids? Sure. But public executions? Not likely. We aren't dealing with IDW G1 Prowl here.

I think the wheeljack of this series can rationalize anything, and arcee suffers from severe ptsd. Either of them would be capable of it, I'm not saying they would just that they could.
And that is propably the main reason whyt they should try it, nobody would expect from Autobots killing completly defensless Knock Out. It would be shocking, also if Prime decide to sign off verdict, it could be a interesting character development. Plus it would be funny if KO died only because he decide to switch sides instead of run.Shadowman wrote:

Henry921 wrote:While I see the logic in killing off Knock Out, I don't see it happening. Even when Autobots capture Decepticons they don't usually kill them (unless Simon Furman's writing the story), so it'd be far more likely they'd just put Knock Out in a stasis prison or something, seeing as Cybertron has been re-energized and they now have the resources to take prisoners (which they explicitly lacked back on Earth).
So Knock Out will be imprisoned, accidentally freed during the movie, rejoin Screamer and Shockwave, and subsequently Soundwave, and they will form a new Decepticon Army who set out to conquer the galaxy only to crash on Mars for no adequately explained reason.

An appropriate and fitting punishment for him would be community service, in which he could both face justice for his war crimes and get a laugh from the audience via on-the-job hijinks and hilarity.
