You had the best chance a human has ever had at taking out megatron, and you walk away. Its people like that that deserve the alien apocalypse. Its a friggen war, not a tea party.
I think we should extend that and say Batman in general. Actually, while we're at it, the majority of superheroes.

Burn:Anyone notice how much of a boring party pooper N_V is? He doesn't join in the fun, he's spent the last few years with dodgy builds feeding XP to the Autobots, and he sure as heck doesn't spam.

It wasn't his place to do so.Name_Violation wrote:Shadowman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Ever seen the Nolan Batman films? true. I never said it wasn't he "heroic" or "right" thing to do. I said he deserves the repercussions of letting megatron live.
War is hell. i get its a "kids" show, and teaches the right thing, but really a drill to the face would have been a more logical choice of action.
I just disagree with Jacks decision not to off megs. I'll sink to that level, and quickly. Kill a tyrant bent on world domination? yep.

Sabrblade wrote:Movie Optimus could learn a thing or two about mercy and compassion from Prime Optimus. With those words by Jack alone, Prime Optimus is looking better and better than Movie Optimus since he's starting to fit better into the "Optimus Prime" mold than Movie Optimus ever did. Heroic, compassionate, considerate, and above all, righteous.SlyTF1 wrote:And what's all this crap about Optimus not killing Decepticons? Damnit, Prime Optimus! This is why I like movie Optimus. He cuts the crap and goes sraight for killing everyone! Prime Optimus, learn from movie Optimus and stop teaching the Autobots morals! The war would have been over from the start if movie Optimus was in charge.![]()
Movie Optimus, however, is no better than the Cons at all.![]()
SlyTF1 wrote:So? The only thing that matters is that movie Optimus gets the job done. While Prime Optimus dances around the only solution.

Shadowman wrote:All of these people trying to justify killing a man when he's down, seem to forget one little thing: Megatron has Joker Immunity. Even if Jack took that drill and cut Megatron's head off, Megatron would be perfectly fine. All that would happen is Jack most likely freaking out thinking that he just killed a guy.SlyTF1 wrote:So? Movie Optimus was terrible at his job. He killed Blackout, then, while Megatron and Starscream were both still standing, decided to go off and just look for Sam. As for getting the job done, remember how he tried talking it out with Sentinel rather than actually killing the traitor where he stood? Actually that was the more heroic thing to do, but it's hardly getting the job done.

But look at what he did in the end. He didn't waste any time.

Still joining them would take a lot more than just "we don't shoot him on the spot 'cause we're no murderes* they could, after all, just say to him "don't do anything bad and we wont bother you, but we're not your friends"
I simply can't see, after all he's done, how anyone of the autobots or the humans could trust him. They know hes a scheming con, and are not stupid enough to fall for him easily (I hope at last)
