Strictly speaking, that's not Cybertron, that's the Nemesis on one of the various moons in our solar system. The only in-movies vision of Cyberton we've seen was the holo-projection from the first movie courtesy of Optimus.

Dude, I've already started a script for a fourth Transformers movie. It will be a reboot, it will be faithful to the original cartoon (with a few alterations), and it will treat the robots as its main characters. And it will have Gary Chalk and David Kaye as the leaders. Yesss. In other words, it will be TF1 done right.

Ya.... You and about 1,000+ other hopfulls with there "scripts". And how says its "done right" any how? You? not trying to be discouraging, but many people have different views of what a TF movie should be. Your view is not the all end say of it.
If you really feel you have somthing then by all means submit it to Hasbro/Paramount. Maybe the'll bite and you can prove me wrong. Personally i don't want to see a G1 reboot (whitch seem to be what your after). Movies are supposed to bring something fresh and new to the franchise.

Yeah, there should be Transformers 4, and it should be a reboot. A whole new trilogy. And a director like "James Cameron" would take it to a whole new level. And it should be darker, and not so much humer. Like "Terminator" or "Aliens". And by episode 6, it would take place completly on Cybertron, in a massive battle to end all battles.

Its a toyline for children. They'd never have an R rated TF movie.

I don't think a reboot will happen, specially a G1 reboot (Let G1 rest in peace in the memories of the 80's kids - like me).

The majority of the current generation of movie fans only knows the movie story-line and maybe a bit of TF animated.
Any continuation of the movie franchise should be based on the current story-line, otherwise it is doomed to fail.
Prequel movies depicting the war in Cybertron may be produced in the future (don't underestimate the huge amount of computer power needed for a movie like this), but they should as well be based on the 1st movie depiction of Cybertron.

What do you think a teenager today would prefer: to play with his uncle's old Atari videogame, or with his brand new PS3/ Nintendo Wii ? The relation between the graphic quality (and appeal to the current generation) of the new videogames and the old Atari is almost like the relation between the current movieverse designs and the old G1 aesthetic. To make a live action movie based on the G1 aesthetic is IMO equivalent to transform the Transformers movie franchise into a collection of B- movies not even suitable for TV broadcasting.

PS: Please don't think I hate G1, I just think its look is incompatible with live action movies produced in the 21st century. I love the original cartoon and even watch it sometimes via Youtube to satisfy my nostalgic feelings, they are the reason a I became a TF fan.

Well, if they make a reboot, it should be.
There will allways be a TF carton and a toyline for both.

Look at Avitar, it's a serious movie, and it's the #1 grossing movie of alltime. I am positive that if TF went that direction it would be an even bigger blockbuster.

I actually think a break from LAMs might be a good thing.
Hasbro has made enough money for it to make toys and cartoons for a long time coming

the films could come back later, but the last thing we want is Transformers 5 :Straight to Bluray:

Im not sure i would want a complete reboot.... they could go off in another direction certainly, Bonds changed actors a loada times, Superman looks like its gonna do an Incredible Hulk, quick origin then straight in. I dont wanna see them crash to Earth again and take a whole movie to get up and running...we know who they all are.

I would love to see this happen, but not a reboot. I love the story arc of the movieverse so far, and would hate to see it go. It could go in a different direction, though. This has been my favorite TF toyline and story line. I live for the movies! And guess what I want for Christmas? All the ROTF figures of the characters in the movie I don't have. That's how nuts I am for the movies.

I like Michael Bay's sensibilities for the past two films. He's an expert at car chases and explosions. So having a movie about transforming cars that make things explode obviously appeals to Bay's expertise.

After watching Unstoppable, I realized after Michael Bay leaves after the third film, Tony Scott would be really awesome with the Transformers franchise. Almost the same style in terms of action and comes from the same Bruckheimer school.

Wrong. Just plain wrong. TF is somthing that should be able to be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. I don't think its fair to deny kids what we as kids kept us interested in the franchise for 25+ yrs just because of a few selfish adults who think the movies should only be catered to them. (whew! 8-} )
also, concider this... Kids, have, (and always will) be the majority demografic who the toy lines are targeted to. Adults alone just don't by enough to keep the franchise alive.

Yeah, sure, a rated R TF movie. The franchise is TARGETED AT KIDS for Primus' sake. Hasbro still wants to make money off the kids no matter what, even if they already have a cartoon out. And with a PG-13 movie, it will get a good balance of both kids and adults. Kids like Transformers, so why make a gory violent movie that is innappropriate for them? That would limit the audience more than what it is now. And honestly, what more can you do to make TF rated R?
By the way, Avatar was rated PG-13 too. I don't see your point there.

I'm with Optimagnus, I don't see your point.

More adult/rated R != good or better movie(or even more successful movie). Leave it accessible to Hasbro's target market.

i'm with u there it would be just plan wrong to make a tf movie rated R. think of all the kids watching there favaorite human character walking and BOOM theres a blood slpatter the sieze of a car! what do you think those kids will grow up to be : SCARED OF CARS AND ANY MACHINES!

and anways i started collecting tf toys when i was 4 and still am. So to get to my point my little cousin was over and wanted me to help him transform a rotf mudflap he got for a gift. so i helped him and then iasked him if he wanted to watch tf the first movie(Bay version). when the movie was done he said that the movie was awsome ,BUT a little scary and got scared so ispent an hour telling him that it wasn't real but he ende up being scared to be alone for the rest of the night
