https://www.facebook.com/perfecteffect.peI think I'll be OK without the elbow upgrade set for the regular figures but we will see where the price comes in for it.
Sowndwave76 wrote:That PE set is very tempting... The add-on's for the individual figures' arms, Dev Mixmaster foot, and Scavenger and Hook vehicle improvements are good enough for me...
The extra head add-on's are just icing.
Yeah, it will most likely be pricey...
Thankfully I've been really selective with my purchases from this line.

the only reason I take interest is not the added articulation, but because it has a Cool Ass Prowl head!

I'm starting to lean in your direction, i.e. retail + add-ons.

How do the joints in the legs seem? Nice and solid?

Solid enough.

Oh you are so going to regret that ...
It at least gives us an idea of what to expect for HLJ's and Ami Ami's prices since they're usually not too far off from RK's pre-shipping prices.Counterpunch wrote:Sabrblade wrote:O hai, RobotKingdom and your $179.90 preorder price - http://www.robotkingdom.com/tuwuw04.html
I don't understand why people get excited about RK pricing when their shipping costs can only be described as bloated and borderline extortion.
Shadowman wrote:This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.
Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'

If I get any of the add ons, they'll be the replacement arms from Dr. Wu, and whatever comes with them. I think the replacement head, hands, and gap fillers are cool, but I don't need them. I am trying to save as much money as possible.

I hear ya. And that was the point with my last comment.
Currently I've only committed to 18 CW figures total-- Devastator, both Hasbro and TT versions of Menasor, Hotspot, and First Aid.
Even though I'll probably get TT Superion, I'm more than willing to spend some to add-on to Devastator.
Cyclonus, Skylinx, and even the rest of Defensor are all "maybe's" for me.
My next purchase may not be until the Combaticons.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think it's weird that, like, 4 new 3P devs are coming out soon? (don't ask for names, I just remember seeing a lot of listings in the bbts weekly thing) also, anyone interested in the gravity builder guy; apparently he's 38 inches tall when combined.
