Those are nice! Very dark and realistic.
I have seen these on ebay going for $150 to about $180. IMHO I thihk the price is good, not too high considering the amount of time it takes to do these up like this. Of course depending on your disposable income, it may be high.
payton34 wrote:Sorry, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. $150 for a $10 figure (in this case, Jazz), customized or not, it a bit too much IMHO.
Having said that, my opinion should in no way detract from the fact that they do look very nice.
grimlockprime108 wrote:that may be so but jin's auctions start out at like a dollar so that is just high demand for his product...not overcharging from the customizer.

You would die if you saw auctions for Jins' repaints going for $800+ for a $20 toy....And these repaints are FAR superior to his work.

I wouldn't say FAR superior. This work is awesome, but its a repaint. Jin makes whole new TF's outta different moulds.
Ok this isnt a Jin war AGAIN. So ignore that.
Great pieces. I'd buy BB if I had some cash.

He makes new characters, not new transformers. The latter would require extensive scratch building which few are capable of.
Technically, all he does is a repaint too, 'cept he sticks on a few extra weapons from other toys here and there and swaps some heads and pieces around...and takes the head off of voyager movie megatron when in alt mode just leaving the ball joint (that really pissed me off ((since i just bought one and i love it)), thats just lazy!).
Original Sin wrote:Do you really have to turn every thread into a bas Jin rantfest?
Original Sin wrote:I'm just saying, this thread has nothing to do with Jin.
Why talk about him at all?
Original Sin wrote:You have to admit, you do try to drag Jin's name through the sludge a lot.
If I didn't know better I'd say you were either jealous of him or you had a man chrush
Original Sin wrote:Oh I agree that the OP's works are great.
I just find it ricockulous that you divert so many threads by going off on a antiJin rant.
The mancrush/jealous thing was a joke by the way.
