It feels very unforgiving. I get why it's in the game, just not so good if you want to keep racking up points and all that. So I've been concentrating on my lower powered teams that are still in their high hundreds to get them up to that level of the primary time, but the 7 minute cool down is literally painful for me I feel. I need to get used to it.
I did see we got the 2 star crystal for Scourge though. So that's awesome. I just wish I could've done a whole heck of a lot more than I did.
You can still hit the event zones even after we've got the crystal, so if you need that double XP or just want to help us get back above 400th place (not likely), have at it!
And as far as team cooldown, I just keep four teams on rotation (since the game only allows for three this gets annoying but hey, I did it when there was only one team slot available, I can put up with it here). That way they all get roughly equal experience and when I cycle back to my first team they're ready to go. Of course eventually that's not going to work when they get to 30 or more minutes of cooldown, but it works for now.
Incidentally I got Scourge to level 10, upgrading him now. He'll be good once I figure him out. Love the ability, and the little dialogues he prompts.
