Blast Off as Shockwave
Vortex a little less ugly and out of character.
I would by this from Hasbro as they have it. Large improvement over PPC.
Sabrblade wrote:Who cares what color Vortex is?!!!
This is NOT G1! Vortex can be whatever color he wants. Isn't his altmode enough? He's not G1 Vortex, so what does it matter?
That's fine, and I somewhat agree. My post was mainly in response to all the Geewhining about his colors.Diem wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Who cares what color Vortex is?!!!

I'm not put off by the fact that he's not G1-coloured.
I'm put off by the fact that those colours are ugly and gel badly with the rest of the team.

Does it really look so bad in this:Noideaforaname wrote:Three Combaticons are now a warm yellowish color, leaving the cool green Brawl looking out of place (and oddly reminiscent of RotF Long Haul). Vortex being a cool blue would have balanced the limbs.
Four of the Combaticons have purple, which serves as a nice little way to uniform the team... except for Vortex, who is once again looking off.
I personally don't care for G1 accuracy, but red-and-yellow Vortex is really bugging me. May have to repaint him myself.

Heh, I like it. Even if I'm guilty sometimes!

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

I want reprolabels to make a sticker sheet saying GeeWhining, which we can then plaster on any Movie/Animated/Prime etc toy we want.
I originally heard the term from a guy on YouTube, who used it to refer to an extreme level of Geewunners as "Geewhiners".Baneblade wrote:Dead Metal wrote:kirbenvost wrote:Baneblade wrote:Sabrblade wrote:That's fine, and I somewhat agree. gothsaurus wrote:What I hate is MIXING the two. I'm okay with a CRAZY wild new take on Bruticus or whatever. But making something 4/5 G1 and then throwing a curve on one limb rubs me wrong.
It's all or nothing Hasbro. Homage G1, or do something fresh. No mixing the two up.

If anyone needs me, I'll be huntin' cybertronian deer with my cybertronian chaw of cyber chewing tobacco.

Let's compare.gothsaurus wrote:Really, this IS a really nice uniform paint job. Might even be my favorite of the six, especially combined.
