That TRU that Will goes to seems to always be well stocked. Ours doesn't even have an entire 4 foot display, is half stocked at best and everything is old stock - except for the 8 Scattershots taking up the place where Sky Lynx would look nice.

I fully agree, thats what I did. Aside from the locked in articulation for his motorized feet, there isnt much need for an update.

Swindle is such an amazing arm though, I love that dedicated transformation!

Hasbro's Deluxe Groove which is exactly the same to Takara's Groove (paint apps and all) will be coming out end of May and will not be an exclusive. So yes, he is getting a full release.

Wow ... so that's what a fabled Transformers section is supposed to look like.

It could help end the age old discussion about who gets the shaft more from a tf distribution view. England will be in for a shot of winning that one.

Groove is an online exclusive like Quickslinger and Brake-Neck, yes. By "not be an exclusive", I'm guessing Will meant that he won't be tied to a specific online retailer.

So, I was transforming Superion back into Silverbolt, and I noticed that the neck plate seemed very loose, turns out that the plate that the head is connected to has almost completely snapped at the hinges. Kind of a shame that I'm already having to replace my Silverbolt after just over a year of having him :BANG_HEAD:

Ya know, the thing is is that, I knew that was possible, so I always took extreme care when doing that, with both him and cylconus. I honestly think the plastic is being enbrittled by the air or something stupid like that, cannot believe that I have to shell out another $25 to fix this stupid problem, and I thought the saga of sh|tty hasbro plastics came to a close with my pile of broken CW Magnus' :BANG_HEAD:

Hm, this has me curious now. Does anyone know if the plastics on Takara's Silverbolt and Magnus are any better? Because honestly I could go with either colour scheme, but if Takara's plastic is less brittle I might just end up shelling out import fees for them.

This is true. I have Takara UM, and ever since Hellscream's report, I'm ULTRA ( :-P ) careful when transforming those legs. It feels ULTRA sketchy and makes a sound that makes me cringe.

Woah wait, so the plastic used on Takara's hotspot has the same ultra cheap feeling? With the super squishy ladder?

The plastics were different in the past. Takara's Gen Tankor, for instance, has different plastic than Hasbro's.

People seemed to like my pics of my toysrus, but I didnt really get a good shot because there was a ladder in the way. It wasnt the most indicative of the store. Plus, I fond an extra display stand full of TFs today and wanted to share that too. You will noice that there is as much CW as RID. Both are similarly stocked and sell similarly well. And I am still full of Cyclonuses. These pics were all shot this morning:

The more I play around with Brawl the more I simultaneously like him more and dislike him more. I keep finding more sculpted detail which is really wonderful to look at and I'm adoring playing around with the tank mode even without a turret swivel... but man that waist. Thankfully it doesn't come into play in his leg mode, but gosh I thought everything was being over exaggerated about it and I'd be able to deal with it when I got it but my lord is it terrible. I don't think I'd mind so much if it actually was able to lock in somewhere; it especially messes up the arm mode and all. I'm at least still able to get some cool poses out of Brawl but this is some of the worst design I've seen in-hand so far.
