Star Wars Ep.1 Naboo Royal Starship.
Oh man, just remebered. When I saw those photos of the AOE TRU Platinums from NYC store, the first thing I thought was, thats gonna suck on the subway!
I went to the Times Square TRU today to check out those Platinum Editions. I'll probably end up getting the Leader 2-pack from BBTS or HTS, but I'll pass on that FE Prime w/ Trailer + Sideswipe. It just looks... not good. At any rate, TRU in general (and Times Square specifically) is tough with exclusives, because it's much harder to get a price match on those products.
And you might get mugged on your way out.
mega-t? Is that 2-pack translucent? or just metalic-ish?

Like I said, getting mugged.megatronus wrote:Times Square is a much, much friendlier place than it once was. Thankfully, the only major risk I have walking out of the TRU is someone in a Micky, Hello Kitty, or Woody costume stopping me to ask if I want to take a picture with them for $5.
Right.Couldn't tell if it was translucent - since the sets are >$100, the boxes have those wire theft devices strapped to them, so I couldn't open the flap to look at the figures within.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

We just might make a wolf out of you yet, Cobotron.
When I was in grad school, I had to rely on the buses and trains to do most of my shopping, including Transformers hauls. I remember one night finding most of the "Classics" 2006 line at the Mall of America, coming home with two huge bags of figures on the light rail and bus, and then opening each up with the 1986 Transformers Movie playing on my TV. That was a great night.
I also remember buying an Xbox 360 at Block E, waiting for the bus holding my prize along with three games and an extra controller...and being approached by a pair of prostitutes who probably thought I was rolling in cash. Yeah...I like having a car now.

I'll get right on it.![]()
I did not comment on that conversation earlier, but I don't prefer '08 Ultra to the CW S-bolt because he's not a combiner. I avoided that mold until I saw Darkwind and I had to have those colors.

Cobotron wrote:As a kid I had the four appendage ABs but never had Silverbolt. This is still true today. so I went to the galleries to look at him.
I had totally forgotten he did this.

ZeroWolf wrote:Hah the base modes, I could never do that with my silver bolt, my brother had lost the ramp when he owned him. Also shame that I found out about him connecting to metroplex after my parents gave him away
I never did catch the 08 silver bolt, or his redecos though I did catch storm cloud.
All this talk about hunting for toys makes me realise how lucky you guys have it over theredifferent kind of hunt here in this green and pleasant Isles (and I hear it gets worse the further East you go)
Yeah, it seems to be another "G2 Smokescreen/Energon Starscream/FOC Starscream" case.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:If I may make a slight correction: Air Raid and Firefly are not retools. They seem to transform similarly, like most of the G1 Aerialbots, but that's it.

We already had that theme in 2013 with Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters. And a bit this year with all the Dinobot and Rescue Dinobot stuff. And the Platinum Edition Predaking reissue. And with Rhinox, Rattrap, and Waspinator as icing on top.mtma wrote:I was thinking here...
Hasbro said somewhere that starting next year, every year is gonna have a theme...
So what if 2016's theme is like... Beastformers!
