I could see Scattorshot being a retool of Silverbolt. Both have similarly shaped altmodes, and SS would only really require remolding of the outer jet shell. Both Superion and Computron have similarly shaped heads, although I could certainly do without the softplastic "nipples" on Scattorshot.

I think that Silverbolt's jet mode looks like Cyclonus. Slight remolding and a purple coat would do that trick.

I don't know why but Pupes is the best news of all to me. I love that little guy.

Scattershot and Onslaught sounds really interesting. Silverbolt and Hot Spot retools respectively perhaps.

Also, Legends Shockwave maybe? How strange.

How did they confirm they were legends? I mean shock wave could be from the R.I.D range, which makes a bit more sense since optimus and Megatron blasted shock wave to oblivion in the comics. Of course comics and death have a history of not listening to each other but slingshot has stayed dead so far.

Also interesting that they are more or less rushing (not best choice of words I know) all the G1 combiners. Now I doubt they'll do wave upon wave of Decepticon combiners, so does this mean some combiners on the horizon

I don't think they always have to follow comic continuity. Perhaps it's just for the whole Bruticus gimmick. Slingshot is being released by Takara despite being dead. Maybe it's just for the lols.

Syn@ takara isn't bound to IDW though unlike hasbro who have a close relationship with them but you could be right as long as it's part of CW

HOLD IT people no where in the IDW comic has it said 'Slingshot is Dead'

Wheeljack further points out that Slingshot seems beyond saving

This doesn't mean he's dead this means he's in a very critical condition

Onslaught and Scattorshot were no surprise to me, but the Insecticons and Shockwave are cool additions.

I like the thought of a Legends Shockwave that can be used as a weapon with a Combiner, like Bruticus for example.

Got excited for Shockwave in the hopes we get a proper Classics Voyager. Found out it was Legends... Excitement is only slightly diminished. If he turns into a hand-held laser weapon capable of being wielded by guys with 5mm hands, I'll be all over it.

Pipes... he was adorable in More Than Meets the Eye", so I might get him.

Onslaught... cue Ode to Joy. :BOWDOWN:

Cool that Scattorshot (and therefore Computron) is being made.

Mr. Chaos's report was for Legends and Voyagers.

Plus, with CW Deluxes all being Combiners, it'd be awkward for them to release a non-combiner Deluxe in CW.

Still no signs yet of CW Wave 1 at my local stores...
What is interesting is I went to Walmart this morning and there was -
Windblade, and tons of Voyagers from the last wave...

Toys R Us still holding on to a good bit of the AOE line, and few MP's.

Beginning to wonder if Wave 1 will hit nearly two months after its "proposed" launch in my area.

Which seems to be accurate as the Snarl AOE Wave seemed to take forever, and the releases seem to be making me want to open my wallet more and more... 50 Shades of Transformers... Stop Teasing meh!

Don't worry. They'll just make him a straight redeco of Chromia. :twisted:

Or they'll make it so the TCC's Afterburner (the one coming with Marissa Faireborn) is the one to go with the others. They'll just make a special combiner port adapter for that toy. :twisted:

How about a damn voyager, which is LONG overdue.

Pipes was a given. Where is Kickback? How about Reflector as a legends? How about a friggin Brawn?? Or a Seaspray? Instead we get a few obscure characters.

Were there leaks like this last year for Brainstorm, Arcee or Tank Megatron?

I ask because those toys which came out later in the year or early in the next were only unveiled at Botcon. And Hasbro already said we would be getting 16 deluxes and seven legends and all of those have been accounted for. So these new toys listed would not be coming out this year (the voyagers maybe, I dont know but the legends no). So I'm doubting they will be announced at the toy fair this year since that will leave very little for Botcon.

See whats interesting how many people want a Voyager version... To me Voyager Prime Shockwave is one of the best Hasbro versions yet and works just fine when standing up next to other version and series.

I would agree though it would be nice to see a Generations Voyager Shockwave with a darker flare and not as ugly as DOTM, and not a re-used Deluxe of Airraid FOC...
