As far as deluxe class goes, in my neck of the woods we still have AoE, wave 1 RID15 and a mix of wave 1 & 2 of CW (mostly wave 1 restocks) on pegs. All the new CW figures fly off the shelves. Wave 1 voyagers are mad overstock though. On that same theme, I was super bummed out by a Wal-Mart I visited a few days ago. I saw 5 each Leader Megs on the shelf and 4 un-opened cases on a cart.Hellscream9999 wrote:carytheone wrote:Pegs don't warm themselves.Hellscream9999 wrote:carytheone wrote:it would make it very redundant to splurge that much same-ness onto aisles at the same time.
All the ones near me are (literally empty space warming itself under the lights) it's why I haven't seen any combiner wars stuff for the most part

If Will is correct and we will be seeing two Voyagers in the Onslaught wave; I'm thinking it will most likely be a limbless Redecobot. The real question is who? I'm leaning (maybe that should be wishfully leaning) towards a Decepticon. At that point we will have 3 Optimaster, 2 Silvclonus and 2 Hot Slaught (heh) molds out. That's 4:3 Autobots vs Decpticons. Does Hasbro normally balance the teams? It doesn't seem likely considering all the 'Bots announced with no 'Cons in sight.

Its not about me being correct or not, it's simply what Hasbro is saying in the panel.
Check out these panels:
Those images at the bottom show us what to expect in terms of deluxes in those waves. So for Deluxe Wave 1 2016, we are getting only 4, the Bruticus limbs. And the voyagers we have two, one Bruticus and another one that will be like Cyclonus and have no limbs made for it. No need for guesswork or assumptions, it's just what Hasbro is telling us.

Unless Hasbro has some secret molds hidden up their sleeves, any limbs released along with the potential new torso will also be redecos. I think Victorion is just as likely as a mystery bot. I would like to see them release one torso and it's limbs per wave release at this point. I'm quickly running out of room and budget. Unless Victorion is a home run, I'm pretty likely to skip.

Now I'm thinking of a devil gigatron combiner core with four predacon limbs...and strangely, I would buy it.
william-james88 wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:Buts that's just it, I never saw him as autobot vortex just Alpha Bravo. Though I wonder what those not overly familiar with Vortex (or G1) saw in AB.
I am assuming they saw the 4th limb to their superion and a fun new helicopter transforming toy.
Burn wrote:Not sure why people hate on Alpha Bravo so much.
It's not like you're being forced to buy him.
And so he's a new character, but the mold was clearly intended to be Vortex. ummm and why's this a problem? Datsun brothers ... Seeker jets ... that's how it's always been in Transformers, yet no one seems to **** about the Datsuns and Seekers.

And any post-G1 combiners like Tripredacus or Landfill, but I think we all know that by the time non-G1 stuff is allowed to stand on equal footing, Hell will have frozen over, thawed, and frozen back over again.
...
I think the last time we got spitting Transformers figures was during Beast Wars.

And how is the underside of Cyclonus worse than the underside of like a zillion other jet Transformers (to say nothing of other Transformers in general) anyhow?

william-james88 wrote:Optimum Supreme wrote:Finally saw some wave 2 deluxes in a local Target yesterday...
But for some reason they were the Canadian version, and had cards instead of comics. How did a Target in America get Canadian figures? Is Hasbro's American distribution so f'd up that stores have to go international to get product? I doubt some manager at Target drove down to Windsor to get them or anything, which I could see happening at a hobbyist or comic shop.
Weird.
Well if you look in back of your card you will notice that the main address Hasbro gives you for their headquarters is in Longueuil, Quebec Canada (for some reason). I dont know why that address is the biggest in the back and what it represents since Hasbro is an american company. It could be that the central distribution stems from there (which would also be odd) but the fact that one of it's head offices would be in Canada might have a link with distributions getting mixed. Canada also gets AMerican versions in the west once in a while.

I already have MP prowl and Classics hound on my shelf... Can't see myself getting new versions of those.. Do NOT have a Sunstreaker, Mirage, wheeljack, or Smokescreen ... so those may happen unless I hear about some new MPs in the works... I've grown accustomed to the idea of them combining... but haven't picked a center body for them yet. I have a Prime already... MAYBE Skylynx?!? Can anyone guess of another 'G1, non-optimus' they could make for a center bot??
Absolutely HATE the legend versions of Shockwave and Rodimus...
Shockwave should NOT be that small... and Rodimus has TWO defining traits in robot mode. Yellow fin on his back... and flames on his chest. Epic Fail people....
ZeroWolf wrote:To be fair this is the first Shock wave that Generations has gotten that isn't game related. It's size is so Bruticus can use him like in the old toon. Find a bigger shockwave and he can use himself as a weapon like the animation errors of old
As for hotrod...guess they just waned to use the blackjack mold for something.

Neat. Do those energon guys actually attach to UP somehow, or are they glued or even just precariously balanced?

Ohhh I understand. I think the blackjack mold is a poor excuse. I mean... if he at LEAST folded up so prime had flames on his chest now... or if the blackjack mold wasn't notorious for falling... but as it is?? yeah, not happening.
Shockwave?? Not a fan of huge characters being tiny regardless... and yeah, I understand the idea of using him as a gun, but after Superion kept dropping Powerglide, I don't have much hope for that either

I may have missed it, but does he have 3 modes?

Pretty sure he is just robot and gun mode. I think they may have succeeded in making a good Gun-shockwave!
