I said this before the Kremzeek attack wiped this thread from space and time, but who do you all think Wheelie will be? I hope it's not a repaint of Blackjack. I'd rather it be a repaint of Bee/Cliff from the '14 legends line. But really, I dare someone to make a new sculpt. It's a pretty cool thing to do.

He needs a new mold. all it's been is repaint central, and while I do not mind too much, I'm feeling the repaint gloom and am sorely in need of lots of brand new molds

Yup, I think they should have skipped the bcop/'84 teams pushed up bruticus and skyreign, and finished with the technobots, or started tw earlier. Even releasing the rid 's would've helped too

I'm ok with the 84 team since they did work fairly well, just wish they had used some different molding to make them stand apart better. Same for Sky Reign: The limbs (with the exception of hound and wheeljack) needed some more remolding to make them better characters. They did some remolding with WJ and it works better since he does look very different from the others and Hound's only real moldmate is the Swindle, but they do look fairly different and Hound does look amazing

While I'm 'okay' with them, I was just pointing out that mold fatigue/line fatigue wouldn't nearly be so bad if they had nixed them and pushed up bruticus; people could've gotten the 4 combiners they care about and been happy, allowing hasbro some wiggle room for sky reign and bcop/'84 later.

When are these legends supposed to be coming out?


To the sort of mini discussion on the 84 bot combiners it would have been really cool if hasbro had of just made new characters with those figures instead of shoe horning the 84 guys in make 8 all new characters so people could really mix and match and make their own combiner.

For example battle core optimus could have been given a new character name and attach alpha bravo and rook to him you're already 3/5 the way to making a cool new combiner.

Like wise as offroad is an auxiliary member of the stunticons given the fact wildrider was made and with a prospective demolisher torso on the way why not repaint or remould a few sculpts into new characters instead of wasting time and money on 84 bots that never combined and g2 repaints that I can't see selling fantastically.

Alright, thanks, I figured they'd be a size class of their own, since they're ostensibly a sub-line of this sub-line. Now I simply await prices for them, hopefully they'll be ~$4-5, anything more would be highway robbery

There is no such thing as wave 5, that confuses the issue. Waves get refreshed and go back to 1 every year. so instead of wave 5, please read it as 2016 wave 1.

Yeah, he looks pretty great, he's one of those figures that looks to be so good, you buy every version because it's so amazing. I wouldn't mind an verison - always assuming that the combiners can hold him.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Fenrir72, we are now aware of some in hand images of Generations Legends Shockwave, brought to us by TF fan Anselm who found him in stores in Sanchung, New Taipei City. These give us the best look at the figure yet, along with a detailed look at how it can be connected to Bruticus and held as a gun by any figure with standard 5mm peg holes.

Hmmm, neither mode looks quite as good as they could be. Shockwave's legs are too wide (rather like the 3rd Party Quakewave), and his alt's more of a tube than anything in particular, and with all the clear plastic it's a shame the gun sight is opaque.

But if it turns out FoC or DotM Shockwave can properly wield him, I'm SO buying this guy.

Oh, no, I've got three within a thirty mile radius. But all three are pretty damn unreliable. I do have a Target and Toys "R" Us I can go to, but Target is pretty hit-or-miss (thankfully it's a 65:35 chance that I find something worth while) with their Transformers, and TRU is a mix of slightly unreliable and overpriced.

I feel your pain brother. I've got one walmart close to where I live, no targets, no tru. And its got optimus prime and silverbolt, a ton of them. Never got a single figure after wave one.

I agree, this is basically where brick'n'mortar stores are at for us; fortunately, target hit is outta the park with wave 4, and my walmart has bcop and (I presume) the fixed mm's in stock along with a slew of wave 4. Guess they finally realized that, in order to sell tf's, one must first stock tf's

He's all sold out now at every online outlet, and the places that ARE selling him are way too overpriced for my taste. Sooner or later he'll wind up in stores. I thought I'd never see Groove or Blackjack in store, but there are several of them now at my local Walmart.
