I'm really looking forward to this. It's the first comics story since War Within that's actually very interesting. Also, great art! LOVE IT! Some of the other artists at IDW can take some cues...
I guess Ratbat didn't get killed by Scorponok after all...and Ratchet! That poor bot... Good to see Megatron not being doofus, but a ruthless tyrant just as he was meant to be.

I'll hold off on deciding whether or not he's a doofus when we see how competent his undead minions are.I'm going to bet not very.
DINOBOT MONTH begins today with the release of TRANSFORMERS: REGENERATION ONE #82—the second issue of Hasbro and IDW Publishing’s continuation of the original 1980s TRANSFORMERS comic book series! Picking up where they left off, the creative team of that series—Simon Furman, Andrew Wildman, and Stephen Baskerville—continue the Transformers story that started it all! With Earth a wasteland and the Wreckers blown to bits by Megatron himself, do the Autobots stand a chance—or will this be the shortest series in Transformers history? And while you’re waiting to pick up your copy from your local comic book store (or buy it digitally at http://idwpublishing.com/digitalcomics/transformers) check out the three variant covers we’ve assembled!
Action Master Grimlock, by Andrew Wildman and colorist Jason Cardy.

Did nobody not like transformers Generation two even the artists? there are some G2 figures in it. I hope megs dons his G2 tank mode as it suits him far better than the gun mode evere did.
Also will the comic cover some of the UK material as many of the wreckers are dead/deactivated by Galvatron I when he killed half of them during Time-wars.
I think Optimus prime will die at the end of this comic to be replaced by Hotrod/Rodimus Prime. Then Galvatron II will return.
