My dad and I will be going to BotCon this year, and was wandering how we should prepare, the amount of money you need, and just things like that.

well the "rules" apply to all cons. first rule is bring your own food. snacks drinks ect. eating out every day can be expensive unless u have the $$ to cover it. but of course bring enough money so if u guys wanna eat out at least 2-3 times the entire con. my wife and i eat out atleast twice, like going to a nice restauraunt or ordeing delivery to the room. then when it comes to spending money its what ever u want. like when i go to a anime con i have maybe about $100-200 to spend cuz i dont buy alot there but when i go ti wizard world i try to bring $300-500 for spending cuz i know what i want. going to a con for the first time can be confusing and exciting all at the same time cuz u wanna soak it all up at once but u cant. just take it slow. take ur time and ALWAYS look before you buy. because you may see something you like right away but there will always be someone who has a better price on it. sunday is the best day to buy cuz all the dealers cut prices cuz they wanna get rid of their stuff....unless something is a hot item then i would quickly see if anyone else has it cheeper then buy it cuz you maynot get the chance again the time your there.

Cool..I do not have a collection, so I suppose I will be buying quite a bit. Oh, and are prices really high on every day except sunday?

agian it depends on what your looking for and if you see if other people have it aswell. if your looking for lets say a MIB Ultra Rare Tf toy and like 5 venders have it, more the likely will all be selling it for as much as they can which means more then what its quoted at. but ya sundal at al cons is when better deals happen cuz like i said they will lower the prices on things, the whole point of them being there is to sel and come back home with less then what they brought.

Thanks Bombus. I will be looking for mainly Dino-Bots, Beast wars, and Shockwave. So yeah I will probably work my butt off, and take about 800 just to be sure.
