hybrid prime

Postby mechajol » Wed Sep 05, 2007 11:16 am

so this afternoon, an officemate brought his hybrid prime to work.

i've heard much about this toy- small and yet almost MP-style transformation and articulation. and yes, it was.

the problem i have is that its priced weird. for a few more bucks, you can have Masterpiece Prime, for a few bucks less, you could get a Classics Prime.

and yeah, for me, i still prefer the classics prime. much more playable and simpler to transform. and it has more points of articulation to boot.

hybrid prime in truck form is flimsy, and doesn't do a good job of looking like a truck.

and it seems that transforming the little guy between modes is such a chore.

still a cool prime, though, in robot mode.

I just orderd the black (ths-02b) one when I ordered my Clear Mirage BT last monday.

I am only going to display it in Robot form so your review is encouraging.

That thing is amazing! I want one, so I don't have to sneek into my brother'S room to see it!

I just got mine.

Have you seen that friggin trailer? My god, everything fits in that sucker! no loose parts!

This is one of the few figs that will be allowed on my computer desk for display.

But yes, he is a little flimsy around the chest. I'm not even going to put him in truck mode because he looks ridiculous. Otherwise, one of my favorite transformers of all time.

My god.. that trailer.. so good!

Is there a gallery for this figure? I couldn't find it for some reason.

I have all three of the THS Primes, they all look good in robot mode but do have crappy-looking alt modes.

Pic of all three together in my sig.

The display posts don't look too comfortable, but the figures do look sweet.

The Black Trialer is one of the nicer ones I have seen, only Laser Prime and Thunderclash's Trailer can beat it!

i agree, the trailer is the best! i'm impressed with roller! the double-steering axel rules!!!

if you're going to display it as a robot, you won't be disappointed. it's a good prime, but not that playable. :D
