Please, X, take it to the dedicated thread about toy reviewers. I'm looking for more info on Warbotron, and I keep running into this discussion that I really do not care to read about.

Indeed, I could not agree more. The part of me that is almost pulling the trigger on these guys is the part that keeps telling me I'm not going to leave them in combined mode anyway, so why do I care about them being so big? And I do enjoy a really good looking Transformer. Ack...

My apologies. Its no secret exposing the reviewers has become synomous with my persona on here. Every now and then someone like DM might throw it back in the mix even though I was clearly arguing with him about something else.

Buh? You're the one that keeps mentioning it X. Don't try and paint yourself as some kind of innocent bystander. You keep making yourself out as this moral crusader dedicated to fighting the evil forces of...umm, toy reviewers. But you aren't. You're a paranoid imbecile with a superiority complex and an ego the size of Unicron who gets upset over deviations from a 30 year old children's cartoon intended to sell toys. Furthermore you're also a cheapskate and a supporter of thieves who willingly buys counterfeits and KOs and are thus directly harming the hobby. You are a disgrace to the Transformers fandom and honestly you need to get off this site and go back to sh*tposting on /toy/ provided they haven't already banned you.

Also...

You turned the most feared Decepticons into the 3 stooges

Yes, because the G1 Decepticons in the cartoon were so terrifying...

Jesus, they practically WERE the 3 Stooges in the cartoon. Starscream was an egotistical loudmouth, Skywarp was dumb as a sack of hammers and probably uses his teleportation abilities to push people down stairs, and Thundercracker was a depressed "only sane man". Not counting the movie (which was filled with death for the sole purpose of clearing the shelves of old product) did they ever kill anyone? Did they destroy any Autobots or squelch any humans? Soundwave was more menacing and he turned into a goddamn tape deck. The Reflector triplets got more done than them and they didn't even do anything after Season 1.

You're just coming up with banal and irrelevant arguments in ludicrous attempts to somehow discredit me (arguments that have nothing to do with the actual issue- the detestability of supporting the KO industry). What are you going to come up with next? "You're not a true fan!"? "You obviously hate G1 because you don't think it's perfect!"? "Trukk not Munkey!"? You know, X, I think it is in fact YOU that needs to grow up. You say you're over 30 but you act like you're 12.

Even though i'm 3 deep collecting warbotron even i thought there was something off about those pictures , for me it's not the combined mode it's the colors first off they look different in hand anyway and second it's the first Bruticus i have seen done with original colors which i think is really strange to look at as there isn't any thing else to compare it to .

I kinda like it for how...monolithic it looks. It reminds me a bit of Studio OX crossed with the less awful bits of Dreamwave. But I can see why people might not like it.

That said if I had loadsa money I would totally buy him. Brawl is probably my favourite so far.

My main gripe with the combined mode (other than the gaps in the arms) is the fact that the combined mode thighs aren't a part of Onslaught.

I'm not a fan of parts forming (I know I know, combiners parts form), and the fact that a trailer makes up the combiner hips just seems like a lazy design choice to me.

Get it through your head. I dont like people who lie (or at least sugarcoat things) to keep getting free toys. Plain and simple. No need to write an essay on how you perceive it. If derailing a thread is really your concern, your just as guilty as me.

As far as KO's, you missed a great thing during the CHMS era. Later on ill go to the KO thread recently started and post some pics of some really awesome KO's. There were many times that the KO mold was used to create repaints that would have never existed.

And as I suggested earlier, your mold choices in pairing up the 3 seekers is really....out there.

I don't use block, but I'm gonna end it from here on with DM. He is gonna argue with anything I say because "X said it". When it gets to that point, the debate isn't healthy anymore.

As much as I wanna like this...idk the wow factor isn't there.

The gestalt mold does look nice, but then the paint/colors just take away from it imo. It would be cool to see a G2 digibash on this. Looks like MBC will beat out warbotron for the classics Bruticus spot on my shelf.

Let me ask you a question....how old are you ? (just spill the beans) Im 38.

18, although I'm not sure what that that has to do with anything. Unless me being some turbo-revvin' young punk means that I am thus unworthy to comment on the ancient and distinguished art of stealing someone else's work and selling it as your own.

Get it through your head. I dont like people who lie (or at least sugarcoat things) to keep getting free toys. Plain and simple. No need to write an essay on how you perceive it. If derailing a thread is really your concern, your just as guilty as me.

There is every need to do so, because your arguments are riddled with holes and simply wrong. Furthermore you NEVER SHUT UP about it- whenever there's a review posted to a thread you get on your hobby horse and start ranting about "muh dishonest reviewers" (in spite of your inability to prove any of your points). Anyway, what does this have to do with KOs and the immorality of supporting them?

I tell you what; I'll stop calling you out when you stop saying such unbelievably retàrded things. You can start by not blabbering on about "THOSE LYING REVIEWERS THEY DISAGREE WITH ME THEY MUST BE SHILLS". If you honestly think they're so terrible, then you can start doing YouTube reviews. otherwise, shut it.

As far as KO's, you missed a great thing during the CHMS era. Later on ill go to the KO thread recently started and post some pics of some really awesome KO's. There were many times that the KO mold was used to create repaints that would have never existed.

If I wanted repaints that were unlikely to ever be made I'd paint them myself. I didn't "miss out" on anything- I refuse to intentionally dirty my collection with counterfeit goods like that. Especially considering that the CHMS Seekers are known for being made of dreadful flimsy plastic and suffering from crappy paintjobs. KOs are not only contributing to the demise of both the 3P and official Transformers market, they are also almost invariably inferior products. Look at iGear's downsized MPs- most of them don't fit together properly and are highly fragile, and often misassembled (in a relative contrast to their original works, which are on the whole pretty good).
And as I suggested earlier, your mold choices in pairing up the 3 seekers is really....out there.

Which has nothing to do with anything. In any case, Starscream and Thundercracker were bought when I was a kid and didn't know better and I don't even have Skywarp. I'm actually planning on getting either the original MP-03 based MP Seekers or the iGear Raptor Squadron as my "classics" Seekers and moving Armada Starscream and Movie Thundercracker to a "childhood toys" display. Personally, I've always liked the idea of the Seekers being different molds (or at least retooled from each other) as it gives them some variation beyond colourschemes.

But again, what does that have to do with anything?

I just couldnt do it. It tales away from the lure that they are supposed to be brothers or clones of starscream. Im cool with unique wings like they did with the coneheads, but not entirely new molds. And I wouldnt do it with prowl, bluestreak, and smokescreen either. Season 1 G1 characters was the one time repaints were actually cool. Sure hasbro was milking the molds, but they had so many more molds back in G1 that a few brothers or clones was cool. Then hasbro started getting silly with the repaints in future lines when molds started switching factions with store exclusives.

That's a cool idea. Didn't Takara release an actual Prime Skywarp (albeit an Arms Micron release with stickers and a pretty cool drill/shuriken Micron) though?

They did, but Dark Energon Starscream, errr, Skywarp, is cheaper, and has all those cool translucent bits that make me buy into the whole Skywarp-can-warp thing.

Think this is simply the most beautiful Bruticus-Combaticons toys created so far. Could care less about scale.

The only thing preventing me from buying this is price. If it ever goes on deep clearance or gets high quality KO'd for a fraction of the price, Then I'll buy it.

Hoping and wishing HasTak creates a CW Bruticus for the 2015 to 2016 years for the cheap USA Retail price of $85.

That looks seriously nice. It's like a Studio OX design crossed with the better parts of Dreamwave. Literally my only complaint is the gun sticking off the Vortex shoulder.

Think these WB01 toy colors surpasses any update Bruticus toy colors HasTak has ever done. Still can't believe HasTak did over 6 colors variations for FOC Bruticus and not one of them was done in 1985 Bruticus toy colors.

yeah they did. SDCC and takaras (aside from vortex). and four versions by my count, five if you include the retool.

retail, SDCC (platinum was the same), takara, G2, ruination.
