Yes, but since Hasbro has nothing to do with the Encore Line the real question is does Takara have dinobot molds it can use?

You're forgetting that Hasbro and Takara share resources and thus molds. If Hasbro says the molds are lost, chances are Takara can do squat. And the Encore Devastator rumor keeps persisting? It's false people, that box shot was fake.

I agree with the next Masterpiece being a repaint, if there is gonna be any. Picking a famous character is getting harder and harder with each new release. If they're gonna make a new mold, I'm hoping it's Star Saber from Victory.

That's mostly becuase it's tough to pick other famous characters that can be simply produced from the existant molds. Megatron and Grimlock are kinda one-shots,you know, whereas with the Seeker mold the potential exsists for at least three,and with some retooling three more,and then Sunstorm if need be.
Personally,that's what I'm hoping for, Coneheads. If we can't get a new mold then let's rework something into an actual character, not Acid/Sunstorm becuase frankly, 22 seconds of G1 screentime does not make you worthy of a Masterpiece figure.

what I would like to see as an MP fig would be Chromedome. I remember the Japanese loved this fig. and it being a headmaster would be one cool fig standing next to the other MP figs.

But if it had to be an Autobot there's really only one car that flat out deserves to be in the masterpiece line. Sideswipe.

With the blinding attention to detail, the license of Ferrari Red paint, and how incredibly sick the robot mode could look, not to mention a good head mold would be, Sidesipe in my eyes is the obvious choice.

I too agree. In fact, I can see many Headmasters being great Masterpieces.

Wow, a Headmaster being given a Masterpiece level toy design? That would be so awesome.

While I personally think Galvatron or Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime are more likely, I'd love to see a Masterpiece Soundwave to add to my collection, especially if he's a similar size to Masterpiece Starscream and Grimlock.

I totally agree! Man, now I'm going to have hopes for a Headmaster MP figure. Yes, that must be the next MP figure!

No seriously my ten cents, I think Soundwave, Shockwave will come out before newer figs like Galvatron and Rodimus. But it sure would be great to have more Dinobuddies!

i second that sideswipe is my favorite tf of all time i already have his reissue,universe,and botcon version this would complete him for me.
