I think I'm gonna go with the standard silver fraction logos (I have a few spares left over) they looked pretty good on my United Megs and they appear to be the a simalar type of silver.

I have pre-ordered this figure because this is what we were always hoping for........but the only thing that concerns me is that we haven't seen any pics of him being able to hold his gun arm up as if he was aiming. I wonder if the arm can handle the weight of his cannon?

Anybody have any info regarding this?

X-Transbots have incorporated a tabbing system to allow him to hold that kind of pose.

Maaaaaaan United Megatron looks so much better than Classics!!

In other news, picked up Combiner Wars leader Megatron today at TRU! He's pretty cool, not super posable but enough. Looks good with MP seekers and Soundwave, until Apollyon gets here!!

Looking at the MP seekers, maybe I will go with the silver border..I know the clear will work no matter what though..decisions!!

Also, awesome that they built in a stabilizer to hold his arm in "sucks to be you at the end of my fusion cannon" position!!

It's getting to the point that I feel the only thing that a Takara MP Megatron (redux) release would have going for it is the fact that it would be licensed by Takara :lol:

Yeah I loved my United Megatron, the definitive Classics Megatron for me. Then I saw the test shot for Apollyon and I was like, now is the time to switch to Masterpiece.

I honestly can't see Takara improving on this (I could be wrong) I personally think they will just cut their losses on Megatron and move on through the line.

Read X-T had to revisit the mold. By giving it more range of movement in order to get that sitting pose. Think X-T did a great job.

Too bad HasTak's QC department didn't do the same for MP-22. As that toy has no sitting pose and limited range of forward movement in the hips. Thanks to the over sized waist piece. That looks like it could have been easily trimmed near the bottom. In order to get a sitting pose and more range of forward legs movement.

It took me a while to decide too. Then I finally pre-ordered it. I don't feel like being left out, I never decided to get QuakeWave and now look at me...NO QUAKEWAVE LOL :lol:
