In fact, I have lots of G1 figures that are not common and would be rare if there was no such thing as eBay. eBay really opened up the TF collecting market for older figures!

I have a nice custom painted 2007 movie Skywarp. While not worth as many of the others, since it is custom it'd qualify as rare!

Yeah I can go to Europe, Argentina, Shakers Ti... uh gentelmens club, or something cool like that for a week.

Hell, I remember when I asked about the Brave series Sky Garry redeco a while back...

It was like 2 posts and BANG Vintage Grandus carrying Vintage Sky Garry, being towed by Vintage Star Convoy!

I'm real proud of my collection, I worked hard to get it, maintain it, and constantly make it grow(got my second G1 Metroplex on Friday). Still, I gotta see yours, take some notes, then either work harder or go back to stealing!

Like: E-Hobby Detritus, Overcharge, Soundblaster(Cybertron) and the Insecticlones.

I'm sure my rarest isn't that spectatular compared to what a lot of other members have, but it's about as rare as I can get at the moment.

That would be the Galvatron repaint of Cybertron Legend Megatron that was only available with a Japanese hobby magazine. Not that impressive, I know, but that's the best I've got

Ah, well in that case I do have some things I would call rare.

For me it will certainly have to be Classics Megatron and Bumblebee, these are the only two Classics I didn't get in stores and for a time it appeared I wouldn't get them, but I did and I'm happier for it and love these two bots.

My other two rares have to be my complete Abominus and Computron sets. Again, these were two of my most highly sought after Transformers and it looked like I might not get them. However, I managed to get a nearly 100% complete Abominus (only missing Sinner-Twins hand gun) in really great shape for less then $80. Computron was not as much of a steal in terms of cost, but I still got a complete set in good shape for less then $150 and I just love them both so much. Two of my center pieces of my collection.

I used to own the Mexican Yellow Tailgate variant, sealed in box. There is only ONE known to exist, but I sold it to help pay for my wedding.

Now, nothing much, just things like Bumblejumper, Warrior, and some convention exclusives like Megazarak.

I don't really have anyting rare the rarest thing I've got is probably MP Megatron without an orange tip. As I live in the u.k I'd say my classics Astrotrain is quite rare, I also have a complete devastator and menasaur which in my opinion is rare.

Ya I have a masterpiece megatron without orange tip......that came to me with an orange tip. Very easily removed with just a pair of channel locks or some pliers.

I have Alt Serve, didnt realized he was considered rare. Titanium Magnus, Fallen and WW Megs. Universe Nemesis prime. Energon Grimlock and swoop

Was Armada Ultra Magnus and Nemesis Prime rare? I have both of them and remember they were hell to find. Only ever saw 1 nemisis on the peg and it was mine ater a month of going to a 24 hour walmart after my graveyard shift EVERYDAY.

When I was a kid my neighbors had a G1 Jetfire, which they smashed into pieces. I could never afford a Jetfire myself, and I kept the broken head, leg and chest bits I found stewn in the garbage one day. I then saved them and bought a knockoff Valkyrie of the same scale, and the pieces fit. From then on whenever someone sold a broken Jetfire on ebay for a few dollars I got it too, and replaced more bits. It's nearly complete now, except for an arm and a few accessories (got most of them!). My jetfire is made of 4 or 5 toys combined at this point.
