I think I might see if I can take a small file and cut down on the plastic there. It isn't that big of a problem when compared to the '74 BB! It just makes his arm a little more restricted in movement. I just wasn't sure if anyone else had noticed this issue.

Now it turns out that I'm on more of an unofficial list than an official list. Counsel called the PD today and is positive that I have no problems with the law, only the officer's report of the incident was on file. The argument between the officer and I was duly noted. Otherwise, I'm clear legally.

So, it turns out that my name and description have been shared between all of the stores that I frequent, that is what the WM manager meant when he said "Known Shoplifters" list, and was all based on the suspicions of a few employees. He seemed believe me when I told him the truth, and honestly want to do something about it. Between that and having a nice long talk with the LP manager at the Canton Meijer, I feel like some steps, however minute, are being taken.

Problem is, now that the focus is back on the retailers, there is nothing to do right now except to suck it up and let them keep making mistakes. I'll have a case if I am wrongfully detained or something of that order. Until then, I'm going to be a pain in the rear customer when it comes to this stuff. I have a feeling that I will know every store manager by their first names by the end of the year.

I know that retail is a rough job(but it isn't as rough as some make it out to be), and I have no problems with being on camera and generally having people keeping an eye on me. I understand the need for it. But what I won't tolerate is the really obvious stuff. The remarks, the security mistakes, and crap like employees following 3 feet behind me during my entire trip through the place. That would be weird even if I wasn't on private property. And you'd probably get your ass kicked because of it.

So, now I'll just keep trotting into my regular places like I always do, doing my thing, and taking note of any obvious encroachments, and filing complaints when necessary, until they back off. I love America.

Meijer's corporate does nothing but make stupid ideas on how to save money or annoy us workers. =(

But to pqp: I don't doubt LP harassing you it's happend to me twice which was retarded, though not as severe as yours but mine was AFTER i paid for my items.

First one, I just got my taxes back and so I had a nice amount of money, so I went to target and picked up some Lego stuff (took a break from Transformers since it was during the RiD line) paid for the legos at the electronics dept. and so I was on my way out when the LP guard goes and grabs my arm as I'm walking out the door. Show her the receipt and I get no sorry or anything.

2nd time at my own job. I just bought a game for GB color and was going to my dept. and a LP in plain clothing goes around the dept. asking some of em what my name was and one of the girls told me "be careful, LP is watching you" I was all "wtf?"

So ya Loss Prevention is sometimes paranoid or really abuse their power to annoy shoppers.

I went to the Livonia Wal-Mart earlier today and it looks like they just put out a couple of wave 1 deluxe cases. Head on over there if you're still in need of any of them.

Wish I could give an update about stores I went to today, but all I can say is I worked all day, and spent the last 4 hours doing homework. I'm taking a small break now, then its back to the slave mines on Galganath 7 for at least another 2 - 3 hours tonight

Thanks for all the support, friends. I didn't even get to comment on the strike...

Glad it's over, for now. I hope that Ford doesn't follow suit, with the strike, that is. The contract seems reasonable, but it still stings(no more COLA, and no raises for 4yrs), I imagine that our copays will rise, and we'll probably start having to contribute to health care; I have no qualms with either.

It's better than taking a pay cut or losing my job altogether.

Although I still kind of question this whole VEBA thing(basically the company gives the union money to handle the retirees health benefits). I'm not sure that the union has the skill or experience to manage that kind of money.

Wait, these things still aren't a 100% thing I thought. I heard they hadn't even made any. The only one we are sure we're getting is WW Prowl. I SO hope that rumor is true. I REALLY want that toy.

Yes, I worry about that, too. I always found it funny that most of my so-called "union brothers" would screw me raw and leave me for dead if gave them the oppurtunity.

Anyway, Woohoo!! I finally scored R. Ratchet and Thundercracker today at the Taylor WM(and no one took down my plate #!! ). One each Prime and Megatron are left.

They had a MASSIVE restock of older Deluxes, at least 8 cases, no 74 BB or Swindle, but plenty of all the others(Barricade, Bonecrusher, etc). It will be interesting to see how much of those sell over the weekend.

They also sotcked the new RGs and Robot Replicas Wave 2, and had a pretty good selection of Sig 6, 25th 5-packs(no singles), Hasbro ML wave 2(minus Thor), and Legendary Comic Heroes wave 1. Happy Hunintg!

Part of the reason I have not found anything new is that I have not been looking...I have not been on a good hunt in some time reason being it cost too much in gas to drive all around town and find nothing...
