id like to got for TW's too, but y'know, money.

I'd say those were the best 2 out of the 3. I have FP's and I'm extremely happy with them, and Volar is looking great too, so I think I made the right choice.

All 3 companies give you something different and, as a collector, that kind of choice is brilliant.

Man o man do I wanna dive in to these 3rd party Dino's...... but, you know, money. :-(

I also feel Hastak can't keep ignoring the dinobots in the generations line. The consumer want is there, they just have to ignore the movie 4 crap.

If I do jump in, I think I'm gonna go Toyworld of Planet X. Maybe fansorojects The MP styled ones are what I really want, but way out of my budget.

I don't think HasTak has ignored them. We got the G1 deco in the SDCC set. They aren't all-new G1-based moulds, but I think that's all we're likely to get for the Classics as far as HasTak goes.

I've invested in Toyworld's, mainly because I love the way the chrome parts are done(just right, though I need to shave off abit from Muddy's wing because it made that tiny tab super tight), and the combiner mode is a bonus since they look great individually.

I haven't seen the other ones yet, but I love the Gcreation's Shuraking version.

I have Thunderous already and 'whatever they call Snarl' on pre-order. 3 modes, love all three. My only complaint right now is the long wait... :HEADHURTS:

Yeah, and not just combiners. Mobine/Paladin anyone?

The only 3P duplicates I have are Sludge and Swoop. I have no 3P Grimlock yet. (Though I have yet to decide if I am actually going 3P Grimmy or not.) Image

I have my gigantic 3pp sludge and my classics Grimlock.... Which do NOT look good together. Even if it's a bit closer to the T-rex/Brontosaurus scale... but even though I've been consolidating and selling off a lot of my extra/doubles of characters... I can't bring myself to get rid of my only grimlock till I get another :P

I'm annoyed enough that I got rid of my YotH Prime in favor of the mp-10 rerelease with better colors... only to have the rerelease get delayed a month or two...

Now I have big old hole just sitting there...

I just want to pipe in how pleased I am with the Planet X Dinobots. Of all the 3rd Party Dinos, it looks like they'll be the first to complete the set (validity of statement depending on if you think FOC Grimlock is close enough, or wanna wait for them to do theirs) and I really dig their take on the Dinobot designs. It works real well with Classics.

Im going all in on Fansprojects dinos. In reality FP is the only CHUG option if you want all 5 Dinobots in proper G1 cartoon scale in robot modes. I dont want any huge Grimlocks or little Swoops, it just doesn't work for me. These are the Dinobots. They gotta be perfect.

...Which is ironic considering that of all the Dinobots that are intended to be G1, they are by far the least G1 looking in terms of actual design.

Myself, if I can actually find them from a UK retailer at a time when I have money, I'm going Planet X. The aesthetic is just plain cool and their QC record is spotless.

I don't think FP is less G1 than Planet X's take. Or the SDCC set if we count that.

Aye, but the Planet X figures are meant to be FOC, not G1.

Agreed. I got them and FOC Grimlock-who is my Classics Grimlock-and they just look so nice. :)

And they're so well-made, too! And fun to transform, and play with... :D  8)

True, but they do fit nicely with my Classics aesthetic.

I also don't mind the smaller Swoop, but I would wish there was a little more size variation to make them all a little more dynamic.
