A Digipaint of Alternator Springer

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

A Digipaint of Alternator Springer

When I saw the prototype of Mirage, I thought the arms reminded of Springer, so I had thought about trying to paint it green and see how it looked, but never got around to it. Well, I finally did try it, and realised the oficial "Heritage" paint job in green and yellow would work very well for Springer. It let me put yellow on his shoulders, to help emphasize the similarity to the original design, and kept the paint layout very realistic.

I intentionally did not try to match the original colors exactly, since none of the other alternators have been all that accurate. I also used only green yellow and grey, to simplify the color pallete of the original. The first image is a strait repaint, below is a quick head swap with Tracks.

I think it is a shame that it looks so good, a shame because it has been so hard to get Mirage that I will never actually try to create this.
